Robin Roberts' strength has really been tested in the past few months.

Most recently, as we previously mentioned, with the death of her mother.

Luckily, she was able to be there when he mother passed, holding her hand as she took her last breath.

We just mentioned yesterday that Robin Roberts took her medical leave from Good Morning America a day early so she could go visit with her ailing mother — we just had no idea how close she was to passing.

Here's what a source said:

"Robin arrived home with her sister Sally Ann forging through flooded and blocked roads to be with her beloved Mother in time to see her. It has always been clear where Robin got her strength, faith and spirit. You didn't need to look far."

Making it home in time is nothing short of amazing.

We can't express how sorry we are about this, Robin. The timing couldn't be worse, either — we just hope you can still focus on your own surgery and recovery somehow.

The estranged father of Lance Armstrong has passed away.

Eddie Gunderson died in Texas at 59, which is not old at all.

As we said before, Dick Clark was actually in the hospital for outpatient surgery when he passed away due to a heart attack.

That surgery was actually a minor prostate surgery.

Here's what David Dreier, a close friend, said:

“He had very minor prostate surgery. All of a sudden, he got a feeling in his arm about 9:30 [Wednesday] morning and he was gone by 11:15. It turned out to be a massive heart attack.”

That is so scary, and so sad that it can happen just like that.

We'll miss you, Dick Clark! NYE will most surely never be the same!

Sadly, when we had first heard that Levon Helm, drummer and singer for The Band, was in the final stages of cancer, we didn't know what that meant in terms of how fast it would actually happen.

With heavy hearts, we're here to tell you that Levon has passed away — much faster than we could have ever anticipated.

Here's what his daughter and wife said:

"Thank you, fans and music lovers, who have made his life so filled with joy and celebration. He has loved nothing more than to play, to fill the room up with music, lay down the backbeat and make the people dance! He did it every time he took the stage."

He was 71 years old, and will be missed by the music industry, friends, family, and the world.

His legacy of award-winning music will live on.

RIP, Levon.

No, not like, "in memory of her dead husband." We're talking that he went unconscious at the controls and passed away right there, and the 80 year old woman had to land the plane herself!

This is so sad, and yet so incredible at the same time.

We are so sorry for her loss, but we are blown away that she could be brave enough to land the plane herself.

Christopher Reeve's charity is still going strong, and there is more than enough evidence with how many people came out to support it's gala event — including a long list of celebs!

It was even hosted by Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin!!

Matthew and Alexandra, Christopher's kids, were there as the family representatives giving support — as Christopher passed away in 2004, and his wife Dana in 2006 (because of lung cancer).

The charity looks to find treatments and cures for paralysis caused by spinal cord injury — something Christopher had to deal with for almost 10 years.

It's such a good cause, and we're glad to see that it's still very important to people even after these past few years!
