We are so sad to say Roger Ebert has passed.

The legendary film critic and author struggled valiantly through several years of cancer, and recently announced a recurrence.

It seems he finally succumbed today.

Ebert and his thumb were famous for strong, loud opinions. He gave them for the Chicago Sun-Times for 46 years.

He never stopped writing his reviews even when hosting his famous show with late partner Gene Siskel and later Richard Roeper.

Roger Ebert's film criticism was more than simple movie reviews. Many of his critiques are used in film classes to this day.

He elevated criticism to an art form and films to literature.

Everyone who loves movies has suffered a major loss today.

This is so sad, even if it wasn't exactly unexpected.

You see, Debi Austin gained fame by starring in and anti-smoking ad, where she continued to smoke cigarettes… through the hole in her throat. She died of cancer on Friday.

Joseph L. Pompeo passed away this past Saturday, and the funeral mass is being held today in Massachusetts.

Another heartbreak!

Ever since 1992, Robert Wayne Birch, or Bob Birch, had been playing bass for Elton John, even lending his talents on Candle in the Wind.

But according to police, Robert was found dead around the corner from his house Wednesday morning.

It seems as if he shot himself in the head, and no signs of drug use were found. There was no suicide note.

We are so sorry to hear this.

Tameka Foster did not want to take 11-year-old Kile Glover off of life support following his July 8 jetski accident.

But unfortunately, doctors confirmed his injuries were too devastating to survive. After struggling with the decision, Usher's stepson was taken off of life support and passed away Saturday morning.
