Should Morning-After Pills Be Prescribed To Teen Girls??

Morning after pills, like Plan B, are technically sold over-the-counter.

That means you could pick them up from a pharmacy just like you could Aspirin or something.

But because of federal law, birth control can't be sold to girls under the age of 17.

Girls 16 and younger need a prescription.

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has recommended that pediatricians routinely talk to their teen patients about emergency birth control and to write them prescriptions for morning-after pills.

So then if a girl does have sex, and regular birth control does fail (exploding condoms), she'll be able to get her pills right away.

Morning-after pills can work up to 120 hours after sex but they work best if taken within the first 24 hours.

Robin Roberts is getting stronger and stronger after the bone marrow transplant she had to have, even if she did have about a week's worth of a setback.

You see, she just had to spend multiple days back in the hospital because of a latent virus that many people have and are able to fight off very easily (that's so bonkers to think about!). The only difference is that her immune system had been reset — and is only 59 days old.

Here's what she posted on her blog, telling us not to worry:

There is a doctor, Dr. Russell Dohner, who has been practicing medicine in a small for well over 50 years now.

He's a typical small town doctor, a throw back to different times.

He makes rounds at a hospital, his office visits are first come first served, he makes house calls… oh and it's only $5 to see him.

Are you on the fence about getting a nose job? Probably not — we feel like a "nose job" is something you either want or you don't, and the decision falls squarely on whether you can afford it and it you want to go under the permanent knife.

Well, what would you say if we told you we could knock part of that equation off… the under the knife part!

That's where this new, non-surgical nose job comes in! Here's what one doctor who performs it said:

Former Steelers Doctor Charged For Prescribing Steroids

Dr. Rydze, a former doctor for the Pittsburgh Steelers, is in trouble after buying a suspiciously large quantity of anabolic steroids!

Hmm… a football doctor buying tons of steroids? We wonder what those were for…

Maybe a game of medical darts where you use the butts of NFL players as a target and instead of just pulling the "dart" out of the "dartboard" you push down on the plunger first.

Repeat this every few weeks for a fun doctor game/great football season.

We're just joking though, because the feds don't list the team or any of its players as having gotten any of the illegal substances.

We guess drug testing in the NFL is too rigorous.
