Doctors are actually testing suspended animation on real people! They can

In science fiction, suspended animation is usually about freezing a person so they can travel long distance through space without the pesky side effect of being super bored during a years-long journey.

In real life, suspended animation is a new, life saving technique doctors are about to begin testing on gunshot and stab victims.

Basically, when a patient has serious, massive trauma, they often bleed to death before doctors can start patching them up. With this new technique, called "emergency preservation" a person is put

Night Vision Capable Cell Phones & Contact Lenses Are Coming Soon? Thanks To A Brand New Scientific Breakthrough They Just Might Be!

miley surprised contact lenses

Talk about sci-fi in real life!! This is SO freaking cool!!!

Thanks to a super smart team of researchers at the University of Michigan, night vision technology is about to get A LOT more accessible!

Prior to this breakthrough, night vision could only be used with that clunky, huge goggle contraption that you see in movies, but now, thanks to Zhaohui Zhong and his team, they have made it super thin aka it'll be much easier to integrate it into normal things!

Like contact lenses!

How cool would that be!?! Sure, they'd probably mostly be used for the military, but, imagine having them to walk home late at night!

If an attacker were sneaking up on someone, then they'd totally be able to have forewarning and fend them off!!

But, it gets even better because that's not all the tech could be used for!

When talking of the design, they said:

Oh gurl, we love that smile!

Dianna Agron was spotted catching a cab while in New York City the other day, and we can't stop thinking about where she's going!

With it being NYC, there are soooooo many possibilities!

But seeing as Glee is currently filming there and Lea Michele was seen then MAYBE she was on her way to set?

We know she'll be making an appearance in next week's 100th episode special, but will Dianna be making another one?

Is this the comeback of Quinn?!?!

We'll just have to be patient and wait to see!

brain surgeon alabama walk surgery

The only word anyone should be using in regards to this story and this brain surgeon is "heroic."

Many cities in the past few weeks have been all but shut down due to the ice and snow, and it's been so dangerous — and not just dangerous for people out there driving and traveling, but also those who need care in hospitals.

Dr. Zenko Hrynkiw (amateur Rutger Hauer look-alike) risked his own life to save another, regardless of the weather! He walked SIX MILES in the snow to perform an emergency life-saving brain surgery at Trinity Medical Center in Alabama.

And he's straight up humble about it, saying:

Boy And Miniature Horse Bond Over Shared Disability

A young boy and a miniature horse bonded over their mutual disability!

Awwww! That's so insanely cute!

Tyler Cribbs is a young boy with a disability.

He needs to use braces to be able to stand and walk around.

Tyler has found a friend and some common ground in Judd, a miniature horse born at the Capital Area Therapeutic Riding Association (CATRA) in Grantville, PA.

The two month old horsie sadly has a condition similar to Tyler's that causes him to need splints to support his own weight.

The association normally offers horseback riding as therapy for patients with disabilities, but it's different with lil Judd.
