Sex and the City stylist Patricia Field has come out to defend John Galliano's "I love Hitler" video, saying it was all "farce"
She told WWD:
"People in fashion all they do is go and see John Galliano theater every season. That’s what he gives them. To me, this was the same except it wasn’t in a theater or in a movie. John lives in theater. It’s theater. It’s farce. But people in fashion don’t recognize the farce in it. All of a sudden they don’t know him. But it’s OK when it’s Mel Brooks The Producers singing "Springtime for Hitler"…Fashion people who know him have not come forward. They know his theater. Believe me — my name is Field — my stepfather was Jewish."
Wow.
We don't know about you, but we're struggling to find the humor in telling someone their relatives would have been gassed.

What a genius marketing idea!
Costume designer Patricia Field has partnered up with Skyy Vodka to promote the upcoming Sex and the City 2 by designing the first themed bottle in Skyy's history in the film's honor!
Select establishments will even carry "limited edition fashion and cocktail accessories" designed by Pat. We wonder what those will be!
Either way we imagine they will be fabulous — especially after throwing back a few shots!

And some of them look stylish, while others missed the mark!
Zac Posen hosted a special VIP event to unveil the Zac Posen for Target collection in New York last night and a slew of celebs came out to support one of their favorite designers.
Attendees included Claire Danes, Selma Blair, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Ginnifer Goodwin, Michelle Trachtenberg, Parker Posey and costume designer Patricia Field.
We quite like Selma Blair and Ginnifer Goodwin's looks, but we definitely think Parker Posey should have consulted a stylist before stepping out in that get-up!
Who do U think hit or miss the fashion mark last night?
