Last week, we learned that Desperate Housewives' Josh Henderson would be joining the cast of the new Dallas, along with several actors from the original series.

Now, it looks like another Desperate Housewives actor, Jesse Metcalfe, is up for a major role in the new TNT reboot series.

Metcalfe and up-and-coming actor Alex Russell are finalists for the role of Bobby and Pam Ewing's adopted son Christopher in Dallas.

So far, actors attached to the show include Josh Henderson as J.R.'s son, Larry Hagman as J.R., Step By Step's Patrick Duffy as Bobby, Linda Gray as Sue Ellen, and Jordana Brewster as Elena.

As we mentioned before, the original show was a drama series about the Ewings, a mega-rich oil family dealing with greed and love and all of that entertaining shizz! The show was also known for its major cliff-hangers!

Who would U like to see as Christopher in the new Dallas?

Good casting choice!

Jordana Brewster has been cast as the first star of the TNT pilot, Dallas.

The pilot focuses on the offspring of rivals J.R. and Bobby Ewing who clash over the future of the Ewing dynasty.

Brewster will play Elena, the daughter of the ranch's cook who is involved in a love triangle.

Patrick Duffy and Linda Gray will also reprise the roles they made famous on the '80s soap.

Larry Hagman has verbally committed to the project, but has yet to sign a deal.

This show already sounds scadalicious! Can't wait to check it out!

Dallas Returns!

Seems like they can't think of anything new these days!

TNT is negotiating deals with Dallas actors Larry Hagman, Patrick Duffy and Linda Gray to star in a revamp of the classic TV show.

The veterans will join a cast of younger Ewings to continue the show.

Larry said:

"I read the script and liked it. A lot of it is exposition to explain what's happened since we went off in the '90s. Miss Ellie's passed on and such. But they haven't made a firm offer yet. We're kicking ideas around, but nothing's been struck in gold. We'll see how it goes; I'm still ambivalent about it."

But Patrick is much more optimistic!

He said:

"I read the script and was extremely impressed with it. I'd managed to read the scripts for the feature films Fox was planning a few years ago and they were atrocious. Just awful, so I didn't know what to expect from TNT. But this read like one of the better episodes at the height of Dallas. It's a perfect sequel to continuing the Dallas tradition.

It's [The plot] carried by John Ross, Christopher [Bobby and Pam's son] and their group, but they put us in enough to carry our old fans with us. J.R. responds to business deals" just as he always did, J.R. and Bobby's acrimonious relationship continues, and "Bobby's married happily — and not to Pamela."

Inneresting. Would U watch the Dallas revamp?!
