The nut didn't fall far from the peanut tree after all!
The New York Post reported Donald Trump's children were fed up with his awkward and embarrassing rants against Barack Obama and staged a quasi-intervention in his office, begging their daddy to shut his mouth before it drew enough flies to freak out Jeff Goldblum!
According to Ivanka Trump's Twitter feed, however, that just ain't so!
After mentioning in an interview that she had love affairs with John Travolta and Patrick Swayze, she wants to make it clear she never had sex with them!
Kirstie Alley recently spoke with Entertainment Tonight while pimping her new book, The Art of Men (I Prefer Mine al Dente).
She touched upon several scandalous topics, but what really stood out was her confession that she once suffered a deadly cocaine addiction — more serious than anyone knew!!!
She is just announcing all sorts of crazy shiz left and right these days!
Kirstie Alley is busy promoting her new book, The Art Of Men, and apparently, using it as an excuse to re-live all of her past, very famous - and very MARRIED - love interests!
And even though she only JUST revealed that if she had it her way, she would have run off with John Travolta, to whom she refers as the love of her life, during a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, she ALSO was head over heels for Patrick Swayze when the pair shot the miniseries North and South in 1985…and the two almost cheated on their respective spouses!
Sounds like one film festival is going to go out with a bang! Ha!
It was recently announced that Magic Mike, the upcoming film about male strippers starring Channing Tatum and Matthew McConaughey, will have its WORLD premiere at the El Lay Film Festival!
Though the flick’s official release date is June 29, it is set be screened on the last night of the LA Film Festival, on June 24 in downtown Los Angeles.
We went in to see Ghost on Monday having heard the negative chatter. We were prepared for dreadful, but thankfully we got entertaining but mediocre instead!
The one big thing missing from the musical was heart! For a show all about love, it seemed like a lot of love was lacking in the process of putting it all together.
Ghost felt very cold, in every sense. It felt like somebody had an idea to cash in on a hit film and assembled a musical by-the-books. Unfortunately, it failed to meet the standard of excellence one expects from a hit Broadway musical!
What was MOST disappointing in the musical was the music! Rather shocking how lackluster the songs were, considering the A-list team behind the score and lyrics. Hit songwriters Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard failed to deliver. Big time! Their songs felt uninspired!
When the only memorable song in your musical is the only song you didn't write (Unchained Melody), as they say in the show: "You in danger, girl!"
If Ghost the musical had launched in the early 90s, we think it would have been a big hit! But it just doesn't work in this day and age.
Having said all that, we were entertained. The show was just a missed opportunity! It didn't live up to its full potential!
The illusions and special effects were super rad! The staging and scenic design was big and impressive! The choreography and modern dance numbers were dreary, though.
But there were some fabulous performances! Da'Vine Joy Randolph stole the show playing the Whoopi Goldberg part! And Richard Fleeshman was so charismatic and likeable in the Patrick Swayze role.
Caissie Levy, however, felt miscast in the Demi Moore role. She has a great voice, which she overused with some major oversinging at times, but she failed to bring anything special to the part. She lacked, in this role, the charisma that Fleeshman and Randolph brought to theirs.
If you're in NYC, though, and can get cheap seats to Ghost, then it's definitely worth your time and money!
Amanda Bynes had a run-in with the popo in the NYC on Thursday night, which resulted in her arrest AND subsequent taking to a psychiatric hospital!
Police showed up at the former child star's midtown apartment after receiving reports of a disorderly person. And that's when shit got crazy!
When the NYPD arrived at Bynes' pad on West 47th, street she threw a bong out the window, who know cuz it probably had crack "incense" in it and she didn't want law enforcement to find it.
Twitter-loving Amanda was arrested on a charge of reckless endangerment.
After her arrest, Bynes was taken to Roosevelt Hospital to undergo a psychiatric evaluation and then transferred to a Midtown police station to be processed.
Hopefully they send her BACK to the hospital and put her on a psychiatric hold!
