This is definitely one of the most emotional parts of any award show. And the In Memoriam at the 2016 Tony Awards was no difference.
The Tonys took some time to remember the ones we lost this last year with a touching tribute that involved the song Seasons of Love from Rent.
Stars like Alan Rickman, David Bowie, Patty Duke, and many more were all honored with this moving moment.
The Tonys certainly delivered something we'll all remember, just like we'll always remember these larger than life men and women.

2016 just took another Hollywood legend.
It's with great sadness that we must report that Oscar-winning actress Patty Duke has passed away at age 69.
Patty's son Sean Astin shared the terrible news on Good Day L.A. Tuesday morning, with a representative confirming the report in a statement, saying:
"Anna 'Patty Duke' Pearce passed away this morning March 29, 2016 at 1:20 am. Her cause of death was sepsis from a ruptured intestine. She was a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a friend, a mental health advocate and a cultural icon. She will be missed."
Patty famously won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress at the age of 16 for her work in The Miracle Worker before going on to star in The Patty Duke Show.
She then spent her remaining years advocating for mental health issues after being diagnosed with bipolar disorder 1982.
Rest in peace, Patty.
