The vid gave us a glimpse of things to come, like Charlize Theron's villain, while also remembering the good times — and of course the late Paul Walker.

The star-studded cast will be in New York City on Sunday to debut the trailer for Fast 8, which will be live-streamed on the film's Facebook page.

While we'll never see that smile again IRL, at least we can look back on a surprisingly broad body of work.

After all, the Fast & Furious star started acting way back in the 80s! Take a moment to remember the late great Paul's long career (below):

Vin Diesel Shares An Emotional Anecdote About Paul Walker Amid All The Fast 8 Drama

What a heartbreaking message.

On Thursday, Vin Diesel took to Instagram to share a sad anecdote about the late Paul Walker and his son Vincent.

The painful recollection comes on the heels of drama with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson on the set of Fast 8. Mr. Johnson publicly shaded Vin earlier this week, which set off a firestorm of rumors and taking sides.

Despite all the pettiness of late, the actor took a much needed moment to reflect on Paul and the depth of their friendship. Even though Paul lost his life almost three years ago, he's just as torn up about the loss as when it first happened.

According to Vin, he was forced to face the tragedy once again when his son asked if Walker could come to his 6th birthday party. Apparently the little boy put a visit from P.W. at the top of his b-day wish list.

If for some reason you didn't hear, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson called out one of his Fast 8 costars on Monday in an ambiguous Facebook post.

He wouldn't say to which costar he was referring but stated some of the male actors were "chicken sh*t" and "candy asses." LOLz!

Well, after the former wrestler aired his grievances on the social media site, sources close to the production revealed that the unnamed actor that got under Dwayne's skin was none other than Vin Diesel!

We guess before that news nugget made it's way to the public, people were blowing up Tyrese Gibson about the incident because he actually decided to address the situation in a now deleted Instagram post.

The 37-year old tried to prove he wasn't the "chicken sh*t" in question by sharing a video of The Rock singing Happy Birthday to his daughter — while calling out Johnson for posting anything at all, saying:
