The girls are back in town!

It's been nearly two years since rising pop star Simone Battle took her own life, but her G.R.L. bandmates finally seem ready to get back to making music.

As you may remember, Lauren Bennett, Emmalyn Estrada, Natasha Slayton, and Paula van Oppen tried to keep the girl group together after the sudden suicide, but after releasing their musical tribute Lighthouse in honor of the late singer, they decided to go their separate ways.

Now, about a year after they first called it quits, a message on their management website has us pretty convinced the girls are getting the band back together!

In fact, the Robin Antin-formed Ugly Heart singers are pretty much guaranteed a reunion thanks to this simple note:

Sad news!

Earlier in the week, we reported hints that G.R.L. had split up after fans noticed that group members Emmalyn Estrada and Paula van Oppen removed the "GRL" from their Twitter handles!

Well, the fans were right — the girl group's disbandment is officially confirmed!

It looks like G.R.L. will no longer be a girl group!

Over the weekend, fans noticed that two of the Ugly Heart songstresses had changed their social media accounts — a sign hinting that the group had split.

Group members Emmalyn Estrada and Paula van Oppen's Twitter handles no longer include "GRL" — and Paula's has been completely changed from @GRLPaula to @eyesthatlightup!
