Winklevoss Twins Bring Facebook To Court…Again

winklevoss twins take facebook to court again

Just in time for The Social Network's DVD release!

Looks like The Winklevoss twins, who feel they were screwed over by Jesse Eisenberg Mark Zuckerberg, are back in court.

Yesterday, judges from the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal reviewed the twins' proposal to have "a 2008 settlement between themselves and Zuckerberg tossed."

For those of you who haven't seen The Social Network, the twins claim that Facebook stole their idea, and they're looking for a larger payout than the one they received in 2008, which their lawyers argue "did not match the multi-billion dollar valuation of Facebook."

Zuckerberg's lawyer E. Joshua Rosenkranz has dismissed these new arguments by the twins Winklevoss, claiming that they "struck a deal that made them very, very rich, and it is making them richer by the day. At some point it is time to move on."

Guess we'll see if the twins are able to argue more money out of Facebook. Worse comes to worst, at least The Social Network is getting more free publicity!

Do U think The Winklevoss twins deserve more money from Facebook?

BBC Anchor Wins Age Discrimination Case Against Network!

miriam-o-reilly-wins-age-discrimination-case-against-bbc

This is pretty crummy. We're glad that they're taking responsibility - as they rightfully should.

The BBC has been found guilty of age discrimination after a female anchor with more than 20 years of experience took them to court for being being unfairly fired earlier last year!

Miriam O'Reilly worked as an anchor on the BBC1 rural affairs program Countryfile. When network controller Jay Hunt moved the program to a weekday primetime slot, she and two other female presenters were replaced with younger talent, despite the show's older men anchors successfully making the transition.

O'Reilly claimed in the employment tribunal that managers thought that she was "too old" for prime time, and even offered her hair dye to make her appear younger!

Just awful!

Luckily, in light of the ruling, she is expected to receive a significant payout, and a spokesperson for the BBC has released the following statement:

"We accept the findings of the tribunal and would like to apologize to Miriam. We will be speaking to her. We would like to acknowledge the important contribution Miriam has made to the BBC over more than 20 years and we would welcome the opportunity to discuss working with her again in the future."

Well, we're glad steps are being taken to rectify the situation, but that doesn't excuse this even happening to begin with!

Deplorable!

May this never happen again!

Thoughts??

Cheryl Cole Gets Big Divorce Payout

Cheryl Cole was so appalled by her husband Ashley Cole's lies and cheating ways, she was willing to walk away from the marriage without receiving any financial support from that slime ball.

She was even going to let him keep their home in Surrey England!

But now a source says that Ashley "can't believe she will walk away with nothing. She worked hard as him for their possessions" and once the divorce is finalized, she'll get about $6.8 million.

Good for you, honey! You deserve it!
