Ann Curry is back on morning TV, and we couldn't be happier.

On Wednesday, the journalist stopped by CBS This Morning to discuss her former co-anchor Matt Lauer, the #MeToo movement, and her new PBS show We'll Meet Again.

On Tuesday, the 61-year-old opened up to People about her infamous 2012 exit from Today, which she says, "hurt like hell." Reportedly, she was axed due to her lack of chemistry with Lauer, who was eventually fired from NBC News in November 2017 for allegations of "inappropriate sexual behavior."

In her first TV interview since leaving NBC in 2015, she told CBS that she was not "surprised by the allegations" against Lauer. In regards to the recent firings of Lauer and Charlie Rose, Ann noted:

Charlie Rose Canceled By PBS Amid The Host's Sexual Harassment Scandal — See The Public Broadcaster's Statement Here

Bad news for Charlie Rose.

On Tuesday, PBS announced that it would officially stop airing Charlie's long running, self titled TV show following the many claims of sexual harassment against the 75-year-old. Eek.

In a statement to Variety, PBS explained:

"In light of yesterday's revelations, PBS has terminated its relationship with Charlie Rose and cancelled distribution of his programs. PBS expects all the producers we work with to provide a workplace where people feel safe and are treated with dignity and respect."

Well, that's that!!

In case you missed it, he got fired from CBS, too! It'll be inneresting to see if Rose attempts a comeback after this controversy.

Yes, the President's first budget is every bit as myopic and anti-intellectual and short-fingered as he is.

Donald Trump's Budget Proposal Will Defund PBS, NPR, & The National Endowment For The Arts & Humanities!

Based on how he dismantled the Education Department, some would think Donald Trump is on a mission to destroy the fabric of American education.

(Hey, if there's no other education out there, Trump University does look a whole lot better by comparison…)

That startling theory is ringing even truer in the wake of the President's first proposed budget Thursday morning, in which he announced plans to eliminate the Corporation for Public Broadcasting!

The proposal would gut out the $445 million budget for the small source of funding for public programming and broadcast TV stations like PBS and NPR.

But don't think public education is getting singled out! The Big Cheeto also plans to wipe out funding for the National Endowments for the Arts and Humanities, which supports libraries and museums.

News Legend Gwen Ifill Dead At 61 After Cancer Battle — Journalists & Celebs Mourn The Devastating Loss

We just lost a journalism great.

On Monday, Gwen Ifill tragically lost her battle with cancer, and passed away at the age of 61. The iconic anchor died at a hospice in Washington, surrounded by loved ones.

Gwen took over Washington Week in Review in 1999, and officially became the first African-American woman to host a major political talk show on television.

Over the course of her career, Ifill covered seven presidential campaigns. In 2013, she became the cohost for PBS' NewsHour. In addition to her television career, she also served as a national political reporter for The Washington Post and the White House correspondent for The New York Times.

NewsHour heartbreakingly announced their co-anchor's death. The show's executive producer, Sara Just, remembered her colleague, saying:
