Kobe Bryant was one of the first people to tweet out support and respect for Jason Collins' decision to reveal himself as a gay NBA player!

Continuing that support, Kobe has expanded his words and admiration for such courage, and has spoken at An Unforgettable Evening benefiting EIF's Women's Cancer Research Fund, saying that he believes Jason has paved the way for other gay athletes to be open about their sexuality!

Here's what former co-star Mary Tyler Moore had to say about the lovely Betty White:

"Betty is a hell of a good actress. Besides that, she's just plain funny, in a stand-up sense. She tells jokes with the best of them."

More from her Hot in Cleveland co-star Wendie Malick:

"It might sound corny, but she really is one of my best girlfriends on the set. Betty loves her work. So many older folks retire, play golf, and then, frankly, often leave the planet early. Well, she has no interest in retiring."

Such nice words from folks close to her!

We think she's wonderful, and we're happy to hear that she continues to get the praise/recognition that she so strongly deserves!

We're VERY curious to see this!

Earlier in the week, we posted a video of a young man named Casey Heynes, who, after being relentlessly harassed by one of his peers, retaliated by body slamming the bully onto the ground. Both children were suspended for four days by their school, but Casey has become well-known all over the world, and praised for finally taking a stand!

Poor thing! It's terrible that he's had to endure so much - especially since he comes off as such a nice kid - but we think that this unfortunately is a reality that needs to be addressed.

Although violence is rarely the answer to anything, everyone has a breaking point, and it's clear that he only acted out physically because it was the only way to make his bully stop.

Hopefully this situation will serve as a warning to those who may have thought that they can treat their peers however they want without consequence.

Star Jones seems to ALWAYS be involved in some sort of drama!

During a recent interview, Star spoke up about some of her issues with her peers.

Here's what Star had to say about NeNe Leakes' comments to the press saying that Jones is jealous that they're on the "same level" despite drastic differences in education:

"No no no. We're not on the same level. Lets make that clear. We're on the same show. This is the thing that everyone needs to understand. I didn't cast the show, Mr Trump and Mark Burnett and NBC cast the show. They cast the show based on what they thought would generate good ratings. This was not a show about friendship. It was a show about whether or not people from different backgrounds, experiences and level of stardom could co-exist for a team and then turn it in for an individual competition. I was very clear on my role in this show. In all honesty, I would never compare myself to another African-American woman. I would never tear down another African-American woman in order to elevate myself. Cream rises to the top and water seeks its own level."

And here's Star on how she made amends with her former View frenemy Rosie O'Donnell:

I would do anything in the world with Rosie! Rosie is one of the most magnificent talents that daytime television has ever seen, and I hated when we were having controversy and how much do I love that we decided to fix that. That's what grown women do when there's a controversy. You get together alone without a camera and you say, 'I had this problem with you,' and we fix it. And that's my girl and when you really want to have a long standing relationship. She's an amazingly-talented person, and I'd be honored to work with her doing anything, God knows.

We're glad to hear that, and we're sure Rosie would be too!

Now, all Star needs to do is work things out with NeNe and Lisa Rinna, and she'll be ALL set…

…And we don't blame them AT ALL!

We had heard word before that Christina Aguilera's friends and peers have wanted her to go to rehab, but after her arrest, we're hearing more and more about it.

Thus far, she's refused to listen to the pleas of people close to her, but she MAY have had a change of heart after yesterday's incident.

So many people care about you and are thinking about you, Christina! Take that important, difficult next step and check yourself into rehab. It's the right thing to do for yourself, your friends/peers, and most importantly…your son.

Words cannot do justice to just how awesome this girl is.

Check out this truly inspirational speech from a High School senior named Kayla K., who bravely and articulately announced that she is a lesbian to her classmates during an assembly in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr.

We cannot imagine how difficult this must have been for her, which is why her courage and conviction needs to not only be applauded, but also shared with as many people as possible!

These words not only need to be heard, but understood and ACCEPTED, because it's the fact-of-the-matter truth in every single way!

Bravo, bb! The LGBT community is lucky to have you.
