Penny Marshall says that Bruce Willis literally screwed Demi Moore out of the part that ended up going to Geena Davis because Demi got knocked up with her second kid during casting!

Apparently Demi was her first choice for A League of Their Own — so we could've seen a much different take on the iconic role!

Okay, let us set the scene: Penny Marshall is a big Lakers fan, and even though he left, also a big Lamar Odom fan.

She was approached at a Lakers game about a month ago by Lamar's assistant, who gave her Lamar's number.

A League Of Their Own is one of our favorite sports films because it not only shined a spotlight on the difficulties women athletes face, but it starred some of our favorites like Madonna!

To get the part though, these gals couldn't just look like good baseball players, they had to BE good baseball players!

While Rosie O'Donnell (also a star in the film) was interviewing Penny Marshall on her talk show, the director revealed that actresses auditioning for a part had to first pass "the baseball test."

To even be considered, they had to play the game and be evaluated by some of the sport's best coaches!

Actress and comedienne Penny Marshall thought she had kicked her cancer, but now it's back in full force and has spread to her lungs. It's stage 4, and the saddest news is that doesn't give her much time.

According to some, just months.

Here's what a source has to say:

“Penny is finally confirm­ing her battle with cancer only because she wants her fans to read about it in her own words,” a close source told The ENQUIRER.

“What her agent didn’t say is that Penny’s can­cer has returned. Doctors are telling her that it’s Stage 4 and has spread to her lungs – and she may not have more than six months to live. Now she’s furiously trying to finish her book, which is due to be published next fall.

Penny is getting chemother­apy treatments at a Los Angeles hospital every other week, and she’s on several medications. A specialist in New York also consults with her physicians in California. The doc­tors wanted to put her on stronger medi­cations, but Penny refused, calling the meds ‘gnarly.’"

We wish her the best, and if there is any way to beat this thing we're sure she'll find it. Penny isn't known for being weak, that's for sure.
