Another win!!

In the ongoing battle to get equal rights for same-sex couples, one major step has been made.

The Department of Defense has announced they will be extending some benefits to same-sex couples in the military which was a final move made by Secretary Leon Panetta before he departs the Pentagon.

Way to leave on a high note!! We like LUV it!

So what benefits will same-sex couples now get?

Rezwan Ferdaus attempted to wage jihad against the U.S. government with an air fleet of remote-controlled airplanes!

Imagine if you were forced to listen to Barney's "I Love You" song for twenty four straight hours?

United States Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta has invited JR Martinez to the Pentagon!

JR is the veteran/actor who won this season of Dancing With the Stars ( a very deserving win at that).

After suffering intense burns during his time in Iraq, JR has made an example of triumph over tragedy with his high spirits and determination. Because of that, he won the hearts of all of us — including Panetta!

Panetta called JR to praise him for the great job he did on the show:

This is insane!!! We just hope this is the worst of it. Fingers-crossed for no aftershocks!

We've got a few more details to share about the earthquake that just shook most of the East Coast. Washington D.C. and Virginia, where it originated, got the worst of it and at present, all national monuments and parks have been evacuated and closed, though officials say that they are "stable"
