Garth Brooks' Dublin Concerts May NOT Happen!

garth brooks dublin concerts may not happen

This would be so sad for all of the fans that have already bought tickets!

It was supposed to be a series of happy events.

Garth Brooks planned five comeback tours in and around Dublin but unfortunately the tickets went on sale before being officially approved!

So while fans scooped up tix for the concerts on July 25th through July 29th, two of those shows have already been nixed by the Dublin City Council - the ones in charge of approving permits for shows like this.

The reasons for the denial of at least two shows is because of "the scale, magnitude and number of the concerts" and the "cumulative effect on residents and some businesses."

And while the three other Brooks shows are still in play, they aren't a definite as of yet!

Here's what Brooks' promoter Peter Aiken said

gilbert arenas could face jail time for carrying too many fireworks

Is it just us, or do NBA players and legal drama go together better than Miley Cyrus and twerking!?

Well, Gilbert Arenas is the latest basketballer to find himself in a bit of hot water, but it has nothing to do with drugs or a domestic dispute.

It's because he had way too many illegal fireworks!

On June 27th, Gilbert was pulled over in Los Angeles for speeding, and when cops did a quick search of his car, they found over 100 pounds of fireworks!!

Wowzers! Sounds like Mr. Arenas had some BIG plans for the 4th of July!

Now the former sharpshooter is being charged with a

Man Accidentally Shoots Himself In The Butt During Bourne Legacy Screening!

This is a perfect example of why we wish people wouldn't carry guns around!

A 56-year-old man with a permit to carry a concealed firearm accidentally allowed it to fire into his butt during a screening of The Bourne Legacy in a Sparks, Nevada movie theater.

Nobody else was hurt during the incident on Tuesday night, but we imagine some people were pretty terrified when they heard that pop!

He reportedly stood up, apologized for the scare and ran out to seek medical treatment.

Cops arrived on the scene after the suspect had disappeared and later found him at the hospital. He explained that the weapon fell out of his pocket and discharged when it hit the floor.

We understand he was carrying it for protection, but does anyone else see a problem here?

What if this clumsy guy dropped his gun and it fired off into the direction of an innocent bystander? This story could have turned tragic real fast!

For now, the unnamed man is cooperating with police, but may eventually be charged with illegally discharging a firearm. At the very least, he should have that permit to carry a concealed weapon revoked!

Angelina Still Trying To Make Things Work With Bosnia

Angelina Jolie really wants to make her new film in Bosnia despite the fact that Culture Minister Gavrilo Grahovac revoked the film company's license because of the movie's controversial plot.

In Angelina's directorial debut, a Muslim woman falls in love with her Serbian rapist, which has many critics blasting both the film and Angelina.

The company that is producing the project, GK Films, is persistent in filming in Bosnia and has reapplied for a permit, describing their issues as a "technical matter."

The company said:

"We are obliged to reapply for
the permit to shoot Angelina Jolie's directorial debut with the appropriate government offices in Sarajevo now that
the final script is available.

The stories about the film which have recently been circulated are incorrect. The dedication and commitment of the cast and crew from all over the former Yugoslavia demonstrates the integrity of this project."

We're still not too sure about the plot line, but if Angelina can make this work, then we want to check it out!
