America lost a legend yesterday. Dick Clark, the longtime host of American Bandstand and New Year's Rockin' Eve, passed away after a massive heart attack at the age of 82.

As expected, fans and celebrities alike were instantly mourning his passing. To honor one of the most famous television personalities of ALL TIME, people in Bronson, Mississippi gathered outside Dick Clark's American Bandstand Theater last night for a candlelight vigil.

Teen Mommer Amber Portwood is gets out the slammer Monday and maybe that's the kick in the butt she needs to turn things around.

Portwood will finalize her plea deal Monday and her family states that she will stay with her grandmother.

As for seeing her daughter Leah, that's a bit more complicated.

Her family says that her baby daddy, Gary Shirley, doesn't care for Amber, even though he says the right things.

A source said the following:

Gary tells the family he is being supportive, but who knows what is said behind closed doors; he tends to try to put Amber down when she needs support the most.

She should be able to see Leah,” our source said. “No one has said otherwise … she wants to be a better mother and role model to Leah

A study puublished by the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology has found that our personality can affect our weight!

After following nearly 2,000 subjects over a 50-year life span, researchers found more impulsive personalities were likely to weigh 24 pounds more than less impulsive people.

Good news for frugal people though. Those scoring high on the "conscientiousness scale" were more likely to remain lean.

The study also found it's better to be nice and those who were considered "mean", or less agreeable, were more likely to gain weight as they age.

The findings make sense to us because those who are more impulsive are probably less likely to resist that 1,500 calorie combo at McDonalds!
