Twin Bilby Joeys Born At The Perth Zoo!!!

Two twin Bilby Joeys were born at the Perth Zoo in Australia this last April.

The twins are female and spent about 73 days inside their mother's pouch before she let them be released into their habitat. At that point they both weighed 242g each.

This is the second batch of Bilbys from the Perth Zoo whom are in the midst of a program to breed the Bilby species who are a threatened class of species.

Major animals who threaten the Bilbys include foxes and cats, competition from rabbits, and habitat loss.

Hang in there, Bilbys! You're too cute to disappear forever!!!

Chris Brown Too Sick To Perform In Perth

chris-brown-is-sick.jpg

Aw poor baby.

Chris Brown had to cancel his show in Perth, Australia due to a nasty infection that has left him bed-ridden.

Even though he told fans on Twitter that he'd still perform despite being sick, he went ahead and canceled anyway.

We guess it's legit though because a doctor released a statement:

"Chris has a severe viral illness. The virus has developed into a nasty chest infection and he needs rest. He is not fit to perform on stage nor is he fit to travel."

We're sure it has nothing to do with the fact that your concert isn't selling in Australia, right Chris?

Hope you have a speedy recovery for the sake of your fans.

Sorry Chris Brown, Nobody In Australia Wants To Buy Your Tickets

tickets-for-chris-brown-perth-show-not-selling.jpg

Whomp whomp!

Seems like nobody wants to see Chris Brown perform in Perth, Australia.

Ticket sales for his upcoming concert have been so slow, promoters have been forced to take drastic measures to fill seats.

In fact, they've gone so far as to offer a 3-for-1 ticket deal for his show at the Burswood Dome.

Not even a 2-for-1 deal???

Ouch!!

Despite the fact that tickets are not selling, promoters refuse to move the show to a smaller venue. Concert organizer Daniel Prichard says that ticket sales tripled the week after Chris lost his cool on the set of Good Morning America.

Ew, tacky. Is that the best way to promote their headlining act?

No wonder tickets aren't selling.

Gemma Ward Opens Up About Heath Ledger

gemma-ward-opens-up-about-relationship-with-heath-ledger.jpg

At the end of 2009, model Gemma Ward stepped out of the spotlight after being scrutinized for her weight, but apparently it was more than that.

In a recent interview, the Aussie says Heath Ledger's death was the real reason behind her decision to leave..

Gemma explains:

"I have taken a break from the media spotlight for the past few years and it was something spurred by Heath's death. (Heath and I) first met in New York and we were both struggling with things that I won't get into, and we bonded over that.

I kind of met him at first and said, 'Listen my mum's living with me right now and I'm kind of going through a hard time and I'm not interested in having a serious relationship with somebody right now' and he was like, 'You know, um, let's just be there for each other through these hard times we're both going through'. And we developed a relationship and we started seeing each other."

Once they became official, the two spent the Christmas of 2007 together in Perth.

"The time we spent in Perth was incredible because we were both from Perth and it was also a time when it was beautiful in Perth and both our families were there and we met each other's families. We were able to not be in any kind of a spotlight and not have to be meeting with people or be hounded by press or anything. We lived in a magical kind of world where we weren't intruded upon."

Less than a month later, Heath was found dead in his New York City apartment.

So sad.

Ed Hardy Banned In Australian City!

australian-city-of-stonnington-bans-ed-hardy.jpg

Australia is taking a cue from Republic Nightclub in New Orleans by banning Ed Hardy in an entire city — and it's all because of the Jersey Shore!

Ha!

The city of Stonnington posted the notice (above) on an Ed Hardy store that recently shut down warning residents to take their bedazzled tattoo douchewear somewhere else.

If this sounds familiar, it's because another Australian city had a similar ban at an event last year.

Geez. They really don't like this stuff down under.
