Philip Seymour Hoffman's Life Partner Speaks Out More Than A Year After The Actor's Untimely Passing
Mimi O'Donnell is finally ready to speak out on the death of her life partner, Philip Seymour Hoffman.
On May 13, the strong theater director opened up about the loss of Philip and how she managed to find solace after his passing.
The 47-year-old revealed:
"I was pretty stubborn in my falling apart. And my kids saw all of it, because they should. What, am I going to hide it from them? I don't want them to hide it from me. And, even as the artistic director, there were times when I was like, ‘I can't do this right now, and I'm not going to pretend I can.'"
Wow, we're quite impressed by O'Donnell's ability to be so vulnerable with her grief. Considering Hoffman died in such a tragic way, we can only imagine the pain she experienced was ten times worse.
