We previously reported on a 23-year-old Vietnamese-Australian who was fuming after Facebook kept banning him because his name — Phuc Dat Bich — looked like an expletive.
The young man even went as far as to post a photo of a passport with his name on it and pretend to be offended by the social media site.
Well it seems that we were all fooled as the Aussie admitted it was all a hoax!

The prankster — who now says his real name is Joe Carr (though that could possibly just be a play on "joker") — confessed to the lie, calling it a joke between friends that ended as "a prank that made a fool out of the media."

A Vietnamese man named was having trouble staying on Facebook recently, because the site kept banning him, alleging his real name was actually an explicit joke.
Why? His name is Phuc Dat Bich.

The 23-year-old Vietnamese-Australian man finally took matters into his own hands when he posted a picture of his passport to the social network, proving that Phuc Dat Bich was his real, given birth name and not some crude teenager's joke.
Bich told his followers of his frustration, posting the following message along with a picture of his passport (above) to prove he really is who he claims to be:
