Victoria Justice Thanks LA School District For Serving Healthy Lunches

Great news!
The Los Angeles Unified School District is the GRAND PRIZE winner of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine's 2011 Golden Carrot Awards!
The school district is leading the nation in innovative food service by eliminating junk food in favor of fruit, vegetable, and healthy plant-based meal options.
As a reward for encouraging their students to eat healthier by offering vegetarian, low-fat, whole grain, and non-dairy options, the PCRM will reward the El Lay school district's food service program $3,000!
Doctors aren't the only people taking notice of the healthy menu changes either.
Teenage actress Victoria Justice wrote a letter of appreciation to the district's superintendent, Dr. John E. Deasy, which read:
