Not only are these GIGANTE pigs who are easily six feet long and 500-600 pounds, but they have a special skill…

They CHUG beer!

Gestation crates are cages that pregnant pigs are locked in so that the pig cannot move around.

They are incredibly cruel and Smithfield Foods (a major pig meat user) had pledged to stop using them by 2017.

And now Hormel, makers of SPAM, have decided to join in by pledging to stop using gestation crates by 2017 as well.

In response, the Humane Society's president and CEO said:

In China, several pigs escaped when the truck carrying them flipped on a highway.

Miraculously, none of the pigs or the driver were injured.

Some of the pigs were afraid so they stayed in the back of the truck, but several others ran out and began foraging and rolling in the mud on the side of the road.

Pretty much what you'd expect pigs to do.
