It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so get ready to see a lot of pink!
We're also excited to see all the different ways in which the fashion and entertainment industries will choose to bring attention to this worthy cause, which really should be on the agenda all year long, but we'll take what we can get. A month is certainly better than nothing!
Kate Moss and Stella McCartney are among the first to join forces for the cause already by releasing a pink lace bra and underwear set for Stella's Gemma Relaxing line, with the intention to urge women to get into the habit of giving themselves breast exams when putting on their underthings for the day.
Of course, they realized the ad and cause would get more attention if Kate were to show some cleavage!
But a classic breast cancer pink ribbon covers up her nipple to keep it PG-rated!
Proceeds from sales of the set will benefit the Linda McCartney Centre, and Stella hopes that it will raise enough money to create a new mammography suite.
