John Mayer may be a heartbreaker when it comes to ladies’ hearts, but he’s a home-builder when it comes to helping vets!

Besides, helping others is a GREAT way to get over lost love, right!?!? Especially when you've lost a knock-out like Katy Perry!!

John recently showed his charitable side by getting his sweat on. He traveled all the way to Louisiana to help build homes for military veterans there.

Thankfully he thought to bring a bandana to absorb forehead sweat from all that physical labor!!

The project was funded by Mayer’s bud Roger Waters (of Pink Floyd) and the Bob Woodruff Foundation.

We’re sure the vets appreciated it, John!

It seems the Suit & Tie donning Justin Timberlake has found inspiration in the epic sounds of Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and Bob Dylan!

The Mirrors singer recently revealed that his upcoming album The 20/20 Experience is heavily influenced by the aforementioned music gods, and defends some of his more lengthy new tunes, claiming that if Led Zeppelin can have ten minute songs, so can he.
