The latest film franchise to announce a fifth entry is Die Hard. We heard about this fivequel from Bruce Willis back in October, and sure enough it's STILL going to happen.

This flick just keeps on breaking records!

Last week, we were kind of surprised to hear that Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides has become Disney's biggest release of ALL TIME at the international box office, after grossing $695.9 million overseas.

Now, the fourth Pirates movie has achieved ANOTHER record: it's become the tenth biggest global release of all-time, with a worldwide box office total of $956.8 mil so far! Wowsa!

Guess this isn't THAT strange, given the fact that there's already a Pirates of The Caribbean 5 script in the works!

Ryan Reynolds' new superhero flick Green Lantern comes out this weekend, yet Ry is already thinking about the inevitable sequel!

Here's what Ryan had to say about Green Lantern 2 and 3 during a recent interview:

"I'm not throwing that out there at all. There's such a rich history with this character, so you get really excited about the possibility. The inevitable war between Hal and Sinestro is something that will have to be dealt with in the second movie for sure, but there's always subplots and a lot of other interesting things going on that are setting up a possible third film."

That's all? Come on, Ryan! You're not even going to give us a HINT at what might happen in Green Lantern 4 or 5??? LOLz.

Ready for a fifth Pirates of the Carribean movie before the fourth installment even hits theaters?

Disney is! Jerry Bruckheimer is! Even director Rob Marshall is in! Unfortunately for hardcore fans, Johnny Depp (the most important ingredient) isn't, so they're going to have to wait a little bit.

In a recent interview, Johnny Depp shares that while he's definitely not opposed to another sequel, pending a good "story, script and filmmaker", he's not quite ready to jump aboard another pirate ship just yet.

"It's not something where I would say, 'Let's shoot it next month to get it out by Christmas 2012. We should hold off for a bit. They should be special, just like they are special to me."

Yay! An actor who actually cares about the quality, not quantity of his work! That's why we love you Johnny! That and your gorgeous face. Ha!

Still, the franchise should be ready to resume once Johnny decides it's time for another because the screenplay for a possible fifth installment was reportedly delivered to Disney this past weekend!

It's all about part 5's these days! Have you SEEN the Fast Five trailer yet???

Earlier today, we mentioned that Disney had already begun work on the Pirates of the Caribbean 5 script, and now we've got updates on another part 5…SCREAM 5!

Here's what Wes Craven had to say about the potential fifth installment in the Scream franchise:

"You know, it's so far in the future. It's gonna be a year [before production would even start on 'Scream 5'] at least, I would think, because even though Kevin sketched out the general notion for '5' and '6', it was not like he had a…ten-page beat sheet. So it's gonna be a matter of if Kevin is of the mind to write again in this franchise, and when will we write? My approach to ['Scream 4'] in general…[was] I love[d] the element of Kevin, I love[d] the element of Courtney Cox and David and Neve…I knew everybody had pretty much signed up, but until I saw a substantial amount of the script I didn't say yes. So that's my approach: 'let's see the script, let's see what they come up with, and then I will or I won't.'"

Let's get going on that script then, Kevin Williamson! We need to get moving with Scream 5, if we're gonna start thinking about Scream 6 anytime soon. LOLz.
