The end is nigh!

The world waits with bated breath for the 2013 Pirelli Calendar, but if peeps are expecting 12 months of barely-clothed, and sometimes completely nekked, supermodels, they’re in for a rude awakening.

This year’s Pirelli Calendar, shot by Steve McCurry, is taking a rather subversive approach, and featuring some of the planet’s hottest women–including Petra Nemcova, Liya Kebede, Karlie Kloss, Adriana Lima, and Isabeli Fontana–totally dressed, you know, in actual clothing.

Gasp! Surely this is a sign of the apocalypse!

Adriana Lima has been keeping a low-pro since announcing her pregnancy in March, but now she's surfaced and in the sexiest way possible!

The supermodel was selected to pose for the 2013 Pirelli calendar, making her the first pregnant model to appear in the calendar — ever.

What an honor!

As we mentioned before, Kate Moss was one of the many models that stripped down for the 2012 Pirelli calendar.

The calendar was actually shot by Kate's ex-boyfriend Mario Sorrenti. They dated when she was like 17, so it wasn't as awkward as it sounds.

Despite all those allegations, Daisy Lowe insists photographer Terry Richardson is not as pervy as people make him out to be.

In an interview with Fashionista, Daisy recalled what it was like shooting the 2011 Pirelli calender with Uncle Terry:

Karl Lagerfeld was in freezing cold Moscow on Tuesday to unveil the Pirelli calendar that he photographed.

According to Unkle K he wanted to portray "timeless beauty and youth", which is why he went for a mythological theme.

In total their are 36 black and white images where 15 ladies and 5 men are dressed, if you can call it that, as Greek and Roman gods and goddesses.

At Tuesday night's event Karl described himself as "the visual version of [ancient Greek writer] Homer".

He adds: "I did with my camera what he did with his pen, although we understand that he probably didn't use a pen."

This year's Pirelli calendar may not be revealed till November, but here's your sneak peek at the lovely ladies!

Model Isabeli Fontana took to her Twitter to unload this pic of the calendar girl at the Paris studio, but Uncle Karl put the kibosh on that real quick! The pic was taken down and luckily we got to it just in time.
