Some Plus-Sized Dressing Rooms Give You Compliments Now! Encouraging Or Insulting?

little mermaid you look sensational

Compliments are great, when they come from a sincere place. But can robots be sincere?

It's a pretty well-known fact that robots are non-sentient beings that can only do what they're programmed to do. So, even if they give compliments, those compliments are not going to come from the heart.

Robots don't have hearts, that's why!

Which is why plus-size UK clothing label Yours Clothing's new interactive dressing rooms that give pre-recorded compliments to customers when they try on clothes may not be the best idea.

We're just saying! Not everybody is going to be flattered by a compliment that was recorded totally out of context.

The compliment-giving robot has no idea if you really look good in that strapless floral sun dress. It'll say anything you want to hear to get you to buy something!

Nonetheless, Resh Dorka, the company's sales and marketing director, is confident that it'll be a hit. She said:

Marc Jacobs Plus-Size Line In The Works???

The fashion world is really warming up to the idea of high-end labels coming in larger sizes.

As we mentioned earlier, Saks Fifth Avenue will soon be carrying "extended sizes" from designers like Chanel and Alexander McQueen.

Now it looks like Marc Jacobs could be found on the plus-size racks within the next year or so!

Marc's crazy tweeting business partner Robert Duffy took to the company's Twitter page over the weekend and mentioned he'd be working on making the range a reality:

Your right. We gotta do larger sizes. I'm with you. As soon as I get back to NY. I'm on it! It will take me about a year. But stay with us

Knowing Robert he'll take it back and say he wasn't being serious, but it's not a bad idea.

Saks To Carry Plus-Size Fashion From High-End Labels

Plus-size ladies who love their fashion will soon be able to find their size at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York.

Currently the largest size available by high-end labels at Saks is a size 10, but that's all about to change.

For the fall/winter season shoppers will be able to find Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Alexander McQueen, YSL, Fendi and Roberto Cavalli in at least a size 14, and possibly even a size 20, depending on the brand.

Unfortunately the bigger sizes will only be available in New York, but if all goes well ladies can expect to see the extended sizes in more stores across the country.

Size 12 And Up Is Plus-Size At Forever 21

If you're looking for clothes at Forever 21 and are size 12 and over, you'll be directed to the plus-size section, or as they call it "expanded sizes".

Do they know how to increase a girls' self-esteem or what?

According to a shopper at the retailer's gigantic new Times Square location, she was directed to the expanded sizes when she was looking for a pant bigger than a size 10.

Keep in mind the average woman in the US is a size 14.

Although we can't say we're too shocked, they are selling maternity wear to sperminated teenagers!

Kerry Katona Clothing Coming Soon

Looks like she really is turning her life around.

According to reports, fashion companies are in a bidding war to put Kerry Katona's name on a plus size clothing range.

The druggie has apparently peaked the two company's interest since she's cleaned up her act. Oh and it doesn't hurt that stores have been selling out of outfits that she's been pictured in too!

A source confirms the news, saying:

"Kerry Katona clothing is coming. It's very exciting for her. Nobody would have thought it possible a few months ago. Kerry's determined to launch clothing that makes real women feel better about themselves."

All we can say is don't screw this up, Kerry.
