In the past couple days there has been a ton of international outrage over the death of Cecil The Lion, a beloved big cat that was killed by a U.S. hunter in Zimbabwe.
But it appears Cecil's death wont be in vain, as local officials are saying his bones will be used to create an anti-poaching memorial.
Johnny Rodrigues of the Zimbabwe Conservation Task Force recently revealed plans to place the memorial in Hwange National Park in hopes of raising awareness about the perils of poaching.
Cecil's body is currently out in the open so vultures and other carnivores can make use of all of the meat before they decide to build the memorial.
We can't wait to see the final result and it's amazing to know that this beautiful creature's death isn't going to waste.
