Don't worry, they're not racist… just horrifically incompetent?

In what's just the latest case of Police brutality in America, a 47-year-old black behavioral therapist was shot in North Miami on Monday while trying to protect his mentally challenged patient.

As we previously reported, the 23-year-old with autism had wandered away from his group home, but was found playing with a white toy car in the middle of a street by his caretaker Charles Kinsey.

Unfortunately, Police stumbled upon the pair while responding to a call about an armed man threatening to commit suicide, and proceeded to shoot Charles despite his many attempts to resolve the non-issue non-violently, which included him LAYING DOWN ON THE STREET WITH HIS ARMS UP!

However, Florida authorities are here to clear this whole mess up… because it turns out they didn't mean to shoot Charles in the leg — they were actually aiming for his patient instead!!!

Now that the story has gained national media attention three days after it actually occurred, the North Miami Police Department FINALLY held a press conference on Thursday where Miami-Dade police union president John Rivera tried to defend the trigger-happy cops, saying:

Police Shoot Unarmed Black Therapist For Taking Care Of His Autistic Patient — When Asked Why, Officer Responds 'I Don't Know'

Let's see how the people try to spin this one…

It's no secret racism is alive and well in America — and we're not even talking about the Republican National Convention's intern pic!

No, we're unfortunately talking about YET ANOTHER instance of police shooting an unarmed black man for literally no reason… but this case out of Miami may finally effect some real change.

That's because while Alton Sterling and Philando Castile's deaths were caught on camera, neither were able to share their sides of the story… but luckily, the latest victim of police brutality survived.

47-year-old Charles Kinsey works as a behavior therapist to autistic and other special needs young adults in North Miami, but when a 23-year-old patient wandered away from their group home on Monday, neither probably expected to get shot.

Unfortunately, that's exactly what happened when cops

Uhm, okay?

It's a very trying time in our country, with anger over unpunished police brutality boiling over to the point some misguided citizens are killing cops.

Well for some reason, amid all the tension across the nation, someone in Muncie, Indiana thought it would be a good idea to post a billboard with the insensitive message:

"Hate cops? The next time you need help call a crackhead."

The billboard only remained up just a few hours on Saturday after local Megan Thomas noticed it around 1pm and posted a picture of it on Facebook, saying:

Five days later and still no justice…

Diamond Reynolds had the unbelievable misfortune of recording her boyfriend's death last week, but she and Philando Castile's friends and family sure are lucky she did.

That's because lawyers for Jeronimo Yanezthe man who shot and killed the 32-year-old cafeteria worker for having a "wide nose" on Wednesday — are trying to say he was simply reacting to "the presence of [a] gun."

Luckily, the mother-of-one streamed Philando's death on Facebook Live, which not only proves that Phil did NOT have a gun in his hands when he was shot, it makes her series of events pretty difficult for Minnesota police to refute.

For some reason or other (i.e. racism), the St. Anthony Police Department has yet to formally charge Jeronimo for Philando's death, so Diamond and her attorney stopped by MSNBC on Monday to share her side of the story with Tamron Hall in her first official sit-down with the press.

We cannot imagine what was going through Diamond's mind when she realized "it was gonna be law enforcement's word over [hers]", but we applaud her for being so brave!

Ch-ch-check out Diamond Reynold's illuminating interview with Tamron Hall (below)!!!

Solange Condemns Police Brutality As She Joins Baton Rouge Black Lives Matter Protests!

Take note, Beyoncé!

Solange isn't the only celebrity speaking out about the Black Lives Matter movement following the recent high profile police killings of black men… but she is one of the few actually doing something to help.

That's because the 30-year-old R&B singer and her husband Alan Ferguson were spotted taking part in peaceful protests in Baton Rouge over the weekend in honor of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile.

But that's not all — while Solange's in-person appearance showed how important equal rights truly are to her, she made sure to drive that point home on social media with a message against police brutality on Twitter!

In a series of tweets on Sunday, Solange recounted how the only violence she experienced while walking in the Louisiana march on Saturday came from authorities, saying:

Police Dispatch Audio Reveals Cops Pulled Over Philando Castile's Car Due To His 'Wide Set Nose'

Filed under: Icky Icky PooR.I.P.NewsViral: News

This is horrifying, and very telling about where these officers' heads were.

A TV station in Minnesota has uncovered what looks to be police dispatch audio from the very call where Philando Castile ended up shot and killed during a traffic stop after police officers thought he was going for a gun rather than his driver's license.

Related: Taraji P. Henson & More Celebs React To Philando Castile's Death

Most disturbingly in the dispatch audio is the fact of why the officers pulled the car over in the first place — and it sure sounds like some disgusting racial profiling took place.

After a robbery in the area several days before the incident, cops were apparently on the lookout for the suspects, so when the report came in about Castile's car, they decided to pull it over.

How they described Castile, though, ought to make your blood boil:

Early Friday morning, the songsmith released a chilling rough cut of a track titled How Many, in response to police brutality and the black lives that have been taken by authorities.

The singer shared the #BlackLivesMatter anthem on Soundcloud, writing in the description:

"This version was started (written/recorded) here in London in my hotel room between the hours of 4am and around 7am when i passed out. ill update this song every week until its complete. Please feel free to share. #blacklivesmatter"

The haunting song contains particularly poignant lyrics like:

"I'm tired of watching those murderers get off/While we bury the lost and loved and innocent."

He even sings in the powerful chorus:

"How many black lives, how many black lives/How many heartbeats turned into flatlines."
