beyonce class politics

Sign us up for this course at Rutgers!

Beyoncé may have accomplished many things in her lifetime, but she can now add being a subject for a college course to her list!

While that may sound weird, we would have to agree that Bey is an innovator! Anyone and everyone could learn a lot from this media mogul!

"Politicizing Beyoncé," the course that Kevin Allred, a doctoral student and lecturer in Rutgers’ Department of Women’s and Gender Studies, decided to teach is in no way shape or form about Queen B's political career!

Kevin talked about his Bey-centered course:

Sway may not have the answers, but Kanye does!

At least he thinks so, that's for sure!

Mr. West has said a lot about President Obama lately, and a lot of it hasn't been so good, but surprise — he still has his back on at least one issue!

In an interview with New York's Power 105.1, Yeezy tried to explain why the Prez hasn't been able to accomplish as much as he would have liked, saying:

Michelle Obama Lets Freedom Ring In Tracy Reese

Michelle Obama chooses an American designer for the anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.'s

Michelle Obama joined President Barack Obama on Wednesday to honor the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s "I Have a Dream" speech, and as usual, she was dressed to the nines!

The First Lady posed in front of the Lincoln Memorial for the Let Freedom Ring Commemoration wearing a beautiful black dress covered in large scarlet-colored flowers by American designer Tracy Reese.

Upon seeing FLOTUS wearing her design at the monumental anniversary, Tracy was flattered:

Bar Refaeli To Pink Floyd's Lead Singer: If You're Going To Boycott Israel, Don't Use My Picture!

Bar Refaeli tells Roger Waters that if he's going to boycott Israel, he should stop using her image!

Pink Floyd should’ve known Bar Refaeli was trouble when she walked in!

The Israeli supermodel is pissed at the band's lead singer, Roger Waters, for using her image in a background video that plays at his concerts, and wants him to remove it STAT.

In case you didn't know, Roger is

Lena Dunham Has A Ripping Good Time At A Fundraiser

Lena Dunham's dress is torn at a political fundraiser!

Makeup: flawless. Hair: adorable. Shoes: hawt!

Lena Dunham’s dress, on the other hand, was rather unflattering and sadly torn at the hip.

The Girls star attended the NYC Comptroller fundraiser in support of politician Scott Stringer on Tuesday night wearing a ripped white frock that didn’t quite fit her right.

While we’ve lurrved some of her outfits in the past, this one doesn't make the cut.

If only she wore something that brought out the rest of her look, not bring it down!

President Obama Talks Russia's Anti-Gay Laws With Jay Leno On The Tonight Show!

president obama tonight show russia anti gay

YES!

President Obama sat down with Jay Leno yesterday for a late night TV interview on The Tonight Show. And it might actually be one of the most interesting segments we’ve seen yet!

While the two discussed a myriad of topics, the TV host made sure to ask the commander-in-chief for his thoughts on Russia’s current anti-gay laws, to which the President responded PERFECTLY:

”I’ve been very clear that when it comes to universal rights, when it comes to peoples’ basic freedoms, whether you are discriminating on the basis of race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation, you are violating the basic morality that I think should transcend every country. I have no patience for countries that try to treat gays or lesbians or transgender persons in ways that intimidate them or are harmful to them.”

Ch-ch-check out President Obama’s complete response…AFTER THE JUMP!!!

Bucket-Sized Drinks ALLOWED In New York City Once Again!

new york city drink size ban lifted restaurants businesses

We get it! We get what the goal was, it was just a bad idea!

You don't interfere with peoples' lives, trying to force them to get healthy! It's a personal decision, and if someone wants to go to town on a 128oz Dr. Pepper after a hard day's work ON THEIR CHEAT DAY, they should be allowed to in New York City!!

This is why INCENTIVES will always be better than a BAN! And the difference between this and smoking, for those of you with that in their mind, is that smoking hurts those around you as well — drinking a giant soda won't!

New York restaurants can continue selling large sugary drinks because an appeals court recognized that a lower court ruling was dead on! That ruling was that city's restrictions are "arbitrary and capricious," which is a very nice way of putting it!

Then they added that the city's Board of Health "failed to act within the bounds of its lawfully delegated authority" and things got a little bit frosty! Like an ice-cold 256oz Squirt! LOLz!

In essence, it was declared the regulation was a violation of the principle of separation of powers doctrine!

Mayor Michael Bloomberg, of course, disagreed with the decision because nobody in politics can EVER admit they're wrong! We're pretty sure they have to swear an oath to do so. Don't quote us on that though! Ha!

Here's what Ol' Bloomers had to say:
