Someone was clearly listening to Melissa Etheridge!

New Hampshire finally agreed on a bill that would legalize medical marijuana, making them the last state in New England to do so.

Lil' Wayne had a BIG problem on Monday after video of the hip hop artist surfaced showing him not only dropping an American flag on the ground but then REPEATEDLY stepping all over it!

Oh Weezy. No, no, no!

The video sparked an uproar on the internet with many calling Lil Wayne's performance downright unpatriotic. Now, he's saying that's just not true! Lil Wayne tweeted out Tuesday morning:

Well, this is sure to outrage someone!

While shooting the video for his upcoming single God Bless Amerika, Lil' Wayne used a a giant American flag as backdrop for one of the scenes!!

Don't get too excited for a patriotic Weezy just yet, though!!!

As soon as the cameras began rolling, the American flag fluttered down to the ground and the 30-year-old entertainer began trampling all over the sacred symbol while spewing lyrics about the decline of our great nation!!

Folks are probably super pissed he danced all over our nation's flag while singing: "God bless Amerika / This ole' godless Amerika."

Freedom of speech certainly permits Weezy to desecrate a flag, but backlash from this stunt may hurt album sales!!!

Woo Hoo!

Another brave famous face reppin' the gay community!!!

One of our fave folksters, Jenny Owen Youngs, has come out of the closet and in a BIG way.

The songstress wrote, in an open letter on EveryoneIsGay.com, that she is in fact a lesbian. Not only that, but Jenny dives into her past struggles with sexuality, her coming out story, AND her plans to marry the advocacy site's co-crreator Kristin Russo.

Jenny wrote:

"I’m writing to tell you, among other things, that I am super gay…I think it is damaging and isolating for young people to look out into the world and not see a representation of their experience. To encounter others who are like you is to know that you are not alone. Even if you never meet them in real life, these representatives help to contextualize you – they are proof that you are part of something. You are not an anomaly. You are not a mistake.I am thankful that in recent years, it has become a bit more common for people from all walks of life to step forward and identify themselves as human beings who also happen to be gay. I am proud to offer my voice to that expanding chorus."

And we're SO proud to have you singing for equality with us!!

If only we could get to a point where we didn't have to remind people that who they are is not a mistake.

Thankfully, our community is lucky to have such a strong, eloquent advocate to help us makes leaps in accepting EVERYONE, no matter what their sexuality is!

Russia's legislature really put the low in lower house of Parliament on Tuesday.

In a 436-0 vote, the State Duma passed a bill that bans educating children about homosexuality, or as they put it "propaganda of nontraditional sexual relations". This includes holding gay pride rallies.

Seriously, Russia? More education is the problem? Boo!

The bill still has to pass the upper house and be signed by President Vladimir Putin, but with such unanimous support no one doubts that it will succeed.

Gay rights activists showed up for a peaceful protest before the vote but were scattered, beaten, or in the case of two dozen, taken into custody!

Way to go, Russian government. We really feel sorry for all the many, many gay Russians that have to live in a country that refuses to understand them.

Because trust us, there are a lot more comrades in big muscular arms than you want to know!
