So in case you hadn't heard, someone at Deadline wrote an op-ed that wondered allowed, "sure we're getting more ethnic diversity on TV, but is it TOO MUCH ethnic diversity on TV?"

No, srsly.

The title of the article is Pilots 2015: The Year Of Ethnic Casting — About Time Or Too Much Of A Good Thing?

[ Video: Racial Controversy! Perez Talks Empire, Raven-Symoné, & More! ]

Basically the article posits that after scoring big hits with Empire, Fresh Off The Boat, and How To Get Away With Murder, networks are making a big push to put more ethnicities front and center on TV — but that this initiative is wrong because it's hurting white actors!

WELL, Shonda Rhimes, the executive producer of HTGAWM — as well as the creator of Scandal and Grey's Anatomy — has a response to that! She tweeted:

Starbucks Backs Off On Their Race Together Campaign After Getting Major Backlash

Starbucks is scrapping part of their Race Together campaign

This is NOT the result they wanted.

Starbucks recently launched the Race Together campaign to try to get the coffee-drinking public talking about racial issues, and it didn't go over so well.

After just one week, the coffee giant is scrapping the plan altogether… well, almost.

[ Video: Perez Explores Starbucks' Race Together Campaign On CNN! ]

While "Race Together" will no longer be written on the cups, Starbucks is still going to hold forum discussions to encourage a broader conversation about race.

They will also co-produce sections of USA Today and are making an effort to place more of their franchises in communities where the population is largely minorities.

However, the execs at Starbucks maintain that their changes are NOT because of the criticism they have received; it's just something that they're doing.

What do U think of this newest move???

What a great way to start the day!

This past Tuesday C-SPAN was asking its callers to phone in to talk about the influence Congress has on Iranian negotiations, but one caller was NOT trying to talk about that!

The person phoning in called himself Jack Strickland and began to explain that he was calling from Bel-Air, California but was actually born and raised in West Philadelphia.

Jack then described how he was with his friend on the basketball court when a couple of guys who were up to no good started to make trouble in the neighborhood.
