As if attempting a relationship with John Mayer isn't scary enough!

Katy Perry recently decided to once again call it quits with the singer after failing to curb his womanizing ways, but apparently, she's not taking the split TOO hard, as she was spotted hanging out with some girlfriends Sunday night at the debut of the El Lay Haunted Hayride!

And even though she was dressed for the occasion with what we described as "gothic praire chic" garb, she still had to cover her look up with a poncho…to protect her clothes from some pretty excessive blood splatter and GORE!
