Pope Francis still has more bones to pick with Donald Trump!
In his weekly statement at the Vatican, His Holiness appeared to shade the President and his policies that are quite literally dividing countries.
On Wednesday, the Pope alluded to Drumpf's plan to build a wall on the border of Mexico, and said it was the opposite of what a powerful leader should do.
According to multiple reports, he said:
"In the social and civil context as well, I appeal not to create walls, but to build bridges."
Francis did not mention the predatory POTUS by name, but made it pretty clear the businessman is seriously lacking in "Christian" values, adding:
"To not respond to evil with evil. To defeat evil with good, the offense with forgiveness. A Christian would never say ‘you will pay for that.' Never… That is not a Christian gesture. An offense you overcome with forgiveness. To live in peace with everyone."
Is it just us, or was that confirmation the Pope thinks Trump is evil?
Either way, this isn't the first time the religious leader has questioned Trump's Christianity. Last February, Francis denounced Trump's border wall after a trip to Mexico, telling The AP:
