Thierry Henry, the Arsenal's all-time leading goalscorer who is currently under contract with MLS' New York Red Bulls, may be returning to the English Premier League once again under a 2-month loan.
Since two of Arsenal's top players are heading off to play in the Africa Cup of Nations next month, the club's manager decided to offer Henry the chance to return and hopefully increase their chances for a championship title.
With the MLS in off-season and an offer on the table, sources say there is a very good chance the former Arsenal captain will return to play in seven Premier League games.
Other members of the team, like Per Mertesacker, seem to think Henry's return is a good idea too, saying:
"Of course I’ve been on the phone to him. He is a powerful, great player, especially for the national team. He has scored a lot of goals, is a good striker with a very good finish. His left foot is unbelievable and I am a fan of him."
Hope this deal works out!
