Liam Neeson took the number one spot at the box office with his thriller Unknown. The movie overperformed during this President's Day weekend, making $21.7 million with an estimated $26 million by the end of President's Day on Monday.

Meanwhile, I Am Number Four came in number two with $19.5 million, which was below expectations for the DreamWorks sci-fi flick.

Seems like co-stars Dianna and Alex had a rough weekend with the announcement of their break up and getting low numbers at the box office.

Disney's Gnomeo and Juliet 3D came in third lace with $19.4 million, which means it could still beat out I Am Number Four by the end of the holiday weekend.

Just Go With It and Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son rounded out the top five.

Yikes, kind of a bad weekend for movies, right??
