Sean Spicer RESIGNS Over Trump's Latest Move!

Sean Spicer is out!

After months of having one foot out the door of the White House, Donald Trump's latest move was the last straw for hotheaded press secretary.

According to The New York Times, Spicey's exit was over frustration in Trump hiring New York hedge fund creator Anthony Scaramucci as his new communications director.

The POTUS reportedly asked that Sean stay on, but he refused as he would have to start answering to the new guy.

The departure is hardly a surprise as deputy Sarah Huckabee Sanders has taken over most of the White House press briefings — when they even still happen.

Trump has already tried to remove cameras from the press room and reportedly toyed with the idea of canceling the traditional briefing altogether, a huge, probably inevitable move in his war on the press.

What part Scaramucci will play in the tug-of-war is unclear, but if it's a bridge too far for Trump alternative fact-peddler Sean Spicer, you can bet it's not good.

Kimberly Guilfoyle didn't start rumors she was going to replace Sean Spicer as White House Press Secretary — but she isn't exactly stifling them either!

After the NY Times reported Donald Trump was talking up the FOX News host, she gave an interview about the whole notion that frankly read like a job interview.

She spent most of the time explaining why she'd do a great job speaking for Trump, even talking about how tough it would be to leave her gig on The Five.

Shortly after, her current employer released an official statement which seemed to suggest she wasn't going anywhere:

Is Sean Spicer getting the ax?

On Friday, the NY Times reported that Donald Trump had suggested "Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle to allies as a possible press secretary."

In case you're unfamiliar with her, Guilfoyle was a regular contributor to The O'Reilly Factor and is now a cohost of The Five, Fox News' political roundtable show (Jesse Watters is another cohost, to illustrate how seriously no one takes it).

So is this switch-up really happening? According to Guilfoyle, it's a real possibility. She told The Mercury News on Monday she's in contact with members of the Trump administration, and that there have been real conversations about it.

But is she up for it? She says:

Allison Janney Stops By The White House To Brief The Press — As Her West Wing Character! Watch!

no title

It always catches us off guard when the political world meets pop culture… but we're absolutely living for it!

It will be ten years since The West Wing went off the air next month, but the Aaron Sorkin-penned show is still relevant today thanks to its politics and its all star cast.

And its current streamability on Netflix

Well, one of the most famous members of President Bartlet's administration decided to stop by the White House on Friday to brief the press in character!

Allison Janney took the podium as C.J. Cregg and began to answer questions before eventually handing things over to IRL Press Secretary Joshua Earnest, much to the surprise of reporters.

Apparently, the Emmy Award-winning actress was in Washington, D.C. with Chuck Lorre to bring serious attention to America's opiate problem — something her character on Mom struggles with — and decided that calling back to another hit show of hers would be the best way to do it!

If this is going to become a thing, we want Darby Stanchfield as Abby Whelan from Scandal to show up next week to address our nation's crippling love triangle outbreak. LOLz!!!

Ch-ch-check out Allison Janney's full speech as C.J. Cregg (below)!!!

The POTUS has spoken!!!

In fact, it incensed the highest power in the land, President Obama!

He didn't want to waste time with a press conference — because he's running a country! — but he did have Press Secretary Josh Earnest release this statement:
