With director Joe Wright reportedly a frontrunner to helm 50 Shades of Grey's naughty ship, his favorite leading lady, Keira Knightley, could very well be our Anatasia Steele!

YUP.

Joe has made Keira his go-to female protagonist in flicks like Anna Karenina, Atonement, and Pride & Prejudice, so it is only natural that he would favor the starlet to play Ian Somerhalder Christian Grey's innocent love interest.

Keira fits the profile as a brunette waif, but she might be a bit too old to play a college student.

We're also not sure we can imagine Keira liking the idea of trading in her corsets for bondage.

Lifetime is about to get double-teamed by Jennifer Love Hewitt!

Her current TV show, Client List, just isn't satisfying the boobielicous actress the way it used to. So, she has decided to dip her busy hands into the deep wet world of… producing!

JLH has just announced she's making a modern-day TV adaptation of Pride and Prejudice for the cable network. You know, cuz that's EXACTLY what the world needs! HA!

The drama, Darcy's Town, will be set in small-town Virginia. And TBH, doesn't sound awesome.

Hopefully Lifetime does a better job honoring Jane Austen than they did Elizabeth Taylor!

Keira Knightley is back to break some more English-accented hearts in another period piece from director Joe Wright (Atonement, Pride & Prejudice).

Anna Karenina, an adaptation of the 19th century novel by Russian writer Leo Tolstoy, hits theaters this fall. And the trailer (above) is as beautiful as it is epic.

Lots of love is in the air as Mz. Knightley begins a heated affair with Aaron Johnson behind her husband's back, who is played by Jude Law. Umm… yum!!
