This is major news.
While Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 has been missing for many days now, it sounds like there might finally be a resolution.
Debris has reportedly been spotted in the southern Indian Ocean, and Australia's Prime Minister Tony Abbott has announced that an investigation is underway.
It's unknown at this time if the debris spotted by satellite is Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, but there are probably many hoping that some sort of answer is provided with this new discovery.
A ship enlisted to help in the search, the St. Petersburg, has reached the area of the debris while four military search planes have also been dispatched.
Stay tuned for more details as we get them.
We hope that those who are wondering about their loved ones will have answers soon.
