CRAZY!
Rwandan Prime Minister Bernard Makuza led a crazy-ass traditional ceremony on Saturday to "baptise" 22 gorilla babies that was introduced six years ago for the endangered species.
At the colourful name-giving event at Kinigi, on the edge of Volcanoes Natural Park, children disguised as gorillas represented the animals just outside their natural habitat.
At the ceremony Makuza gave one of two gorilla twins born in February the Rwandan name Ijambo, literally "the word".
"I name him Ijambo because what we do, the progress we make, enables us to speak in the concert of nations,"
Makuza said.
Guess when your Prime Minister, you get to baptize animals AND make up the names. Doesn't he have better things to do?
ANYWAY if you don't: click HERE to see an American gorilla breakdance!

About time!
It's been over two months after we posted about the British prime minister adopting a 4-year-old tabby cat named Larry to catch mice.
Having once been a wild cat, Larry was known for his "strong predatory drive," but those campaign promises that got him hired didn't have any merit.
Larry was not the mouser they said he was, instead of hunting the lazy kitty has been enjoying the sweet life at the prime minister's famous residence, 10 Downing Street.
But last Friday, Larry finally made good on his promise. The kitty came from the Downing Street garden — with a mouse in his mouth. And, there might be more where that came from!
Larry has time still left in his term to bring out more of the predator within.

Check out the 2014 Winter Olympic mascot!
This adorable little cat came with controversy…
Three mascots - a cute-looking snow leopard, polar bear and hare - were chosen to represent the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi by popular vote in a television show late on Saturday.
But now allegations of high-level political meddling, as well as plagiarism, have marred the vote.
Eyebrows were first raised when the initial favourite to win the most votes - a portrayal of Russian Father Christmas Ded Moroz - was rather undemocratically ditched from the competition by the organisers.
Then it just so happened that the mascot which the Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin had declared his favourite - the 'strong, fast and beautiful' snow leopard - polled easily the most votes.
That is ridicules!
At least Putin isn't a fan of the house rat!

According to an official from Canada, they'll travel across the country from late June until mid-July.
Highlights of their trip will include celebrating Canada Day on July 1 in Ottawa, and a trip to the Arctic.

Meow.
British Prime Minister David Cameron's new rat catcher, Larry, is the most recent in a line of famous cats in politics.
A four-year-old tabby cat moved into 10 Downing Street this week after a large black rat was spotted by TV cameras scuttling past the British Prime Ministers house.
Clearly Larry isn't a fan of the press.
