We can't believe this is actually happening!
Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond has announced that Scottish voters will get the chance to vote on whether or not they want independence from the UK in 2014.
Salmond chose '14 because he wants the vote to take place "just after the 700th anniversary of a renowned Scottish victory over the English at Bannockburn."

Check out the newly released UK trailer (above) for The Iron Lady, which features Meryl Streep as Margaret Thatcher.
As we mentioned before, the film explores Thatcher's rise to power in the UK as Prime Minister, and the 17 days leading up to the Falklands War in 1982.
We have no doubt that this will be A-MAZING! Can't wait!

Britain's Prime Minister David Cameron has announced that the UK will be drastically cutting aid to ALL African countries that persecute gays.
Thus far, Britain's International Development Secretary Andrew Mitchell has cut Malawi's aid by £19 million for the country's persecution against two gay men, who were sentenced to fourteen years of hard labor. Fortunately, the men have now been freed.
In an effort to further support Prime Minister Cameron, Andrew Mitchell has also threatened to "impose further aid 'fines' against Uganda and Ghana for hardline anti-gay and lesbian measures."
Here's what a spokesperson for Mitchell had to say about it:
Silvio Berlusconi received a very public tongue lashing from Anna Wintour.
Vogue's editor-in-chief told La Repubblica newspaper she's disgusted by the scandal-plagued Prime Minister who is famous for having bunga bunga sex parties, paying for sex, and having sexual relations with underage girls.
"I have no other words. I am disgusted and embarrassed: How can Italy tolerate Silvio Berlusconi and his bevy of girls?"
She also encouraged Italian women to stand up to the "dictator" by protesting fashion week.
