Jake Gyllenhaal is disappearing!
The seksi star was spotted looking SLIM on Monday as he filmed his upcoming movie Nightcrawler on Venice Beach.
Nightcrawler? No wonder he's lost so much weight! As a nightcrawler, he can only extract the nutrients from decaying plants in soil! Who would want to eat that?
Ch-ch-check out the pics (below) to see the usually buff Jake gone gaunt.
This isn't the first time Jake has altered his shape for a role. He also proved he could pack the pounds on for Prince Of Persia!
Either way, he is one fine hunk of man - even if he is playing a worm!

Jake Gyllenhaal was a pretty slim guy, especially back in his Donnie Darko days.
So to play the ripped prince in Prince of Persia he had to pack on some serious muscle.
Good thing he had an ex-marine make up a great training regimen for him!
Men's Health has got the whole royal workout laid out:

Check out the newly-released trailer (above) for Disney's John Carter, which debuted last night at the Super Bowl!
When we saw the first trailer for this movie back in December, it seemed to us like it was basically Prince of Persia in space…but we're starting to think there might be more to it!
It IS being directed by the the guy made Wall-E, after all!
What do U think? Will U check out John Carter when it comes out next month???

John Carter of Mars promises to be one of the biggest movies of 2012. With Willem Dafoe, Lynn Collins and the delish Taylor Kitsch, this space-time adventure promises action, suspense and enough CGI to make Polar Express look like a documentary.
In other words, it'll be like the Prince Of Persia … BUT IN SPACE!!!
Check out the new trailer for the flick (above) and see if its something you think you'l check out in the new year!

It’s no accident we didn’t put an exclamation point in this headline…we’re REALLY skeptical about this.
Elf opens at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre on November 10. We're pretty sure we've got other plans that day.
Film-To-Broadway adaptations can be troublesome, and this is no exception. As we mentioned back in December, we’re struggling with mustering any kind of enthusiasm for this. What could they possibly do to make it NOT lame?
Well…here’s the one thing that is has going for it: George Wendt.
He played a lovable alcoholic on Cheers, he tackled the role of Edna in the recent Broadway adaptation of Hairspray, and now he’ll be taking over Ed Asner’s role as Santa Claus.
Guess we’ll see how this one plays out, but it just seems kind of pointless. What unnecessary Film-To-Broadway adaptation is next? Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time: The Musical?
What do U think would be the WORST Film-To-Broadway adaptation?

Tough break, Carrie Bradshaw.
For the second week in a row, the fourth installment of Shrek won the top spot at the box-office, taking in an estimated $55.6 million over the long holiday weekend.
Experts had estimated that it would be Sex & The City 2 who would bring in the big bucks, but in fact, the ladies and their Abu Dhabi adventure came in THIRD!
Jumping past the girls in sales was Jake Gyllenhaal's Prince of Persia, which made $.7 million more than Sex.
Hey, if it helps, we liked it!
What do U see over the weekend?

And it's not from the fire!
True Blood's Ryan Kwanten attended the Break Media launch party for Prince of Persia: Forgotten Sands and he looks super delicious as usual!
