This is every mother's nightmare.
On Thursday, two-year-old Alfie Lunn was tasked with the job to politely present Queen Elizabeth II with flowers right after her unveiling of a new war memorial in London. Sadly for the toddler's momma, things did not go according to plan.
Rather than quietly hand over the bouquet, the tiny tot went into full meltdown mode — and the British monarch witnessed the whole thing. HIGHlarious!
But, being seasoned vets at dealing with the public, the Queen and her husband, Prince Philip, were totally unbothered by the scene. In fact, the Duke of Edinburgh was noticeably smiling as little Alfie squirmed out of his mother's arms.
According to the boy's mom, Corporal Michele Lunn, Prince William's grandmother was "very understanding."
