According to reports, tremors were felt in the states of Assam, including Kaziranga National Park, where William and Kate visited on Wednesday while learning about conservation efforts.
A palace spokesman assured:
"Tremors were felt across the region. Everyone is okay."
Well that's a relief!
As for their safari excursion earlier in the day, the duo explored the 185-square-mile park while soaking in information about the successfully growing rhino population.
The 33-year-old Duke of Cambridge is notoriously passionate about efforts being made to curb poaching — so this was a particularly special part of their tour of India.
At least it sounds like they had a good day before their scare later that night!
