When we heard that Princess Diana’s dresses were going up for auction again, we knew they’d go for a pretty penny.
And they DID!
All ten of the dresses auctioned off at Kerry Taylor Auctions on Tuesday raked in a whopping $1,209,120.
The best seller in the lot was the Victor Edelstein gown Princess Di wore when she danced with John Travolta at the White House, which fetched $362,736.
Dayum!
No word if Prince William bought one as a surprise for Kate Middleton, but if not, no worries. She'll always have that fabulous sapphire and diamond ring!

Awwww. What a nice son!
Prince Harry did a lot of charity work on his recent trip to Africa, and because he knows that his late mother, Princess Diana would be proud of him if he continued to give back — he now picked up her landmine clearance charity, the Halo Trust.

Prince Harry has been tugging on our heartstrings with his Sentebale organization's charity work in Africa the past couple days.
But now he has just reached in past the strings and completely stolen our hearts with the reason why!

If you’ve recently come into a ton of money, and love Princess Diana, then listen up!
Kerry Taylor Auctions, the same UK auction house that sold the dress Kate Middleton modeled in college, has acquired a closet full of Princess Diana's dresses and auctioning them off next month.
The Fit for a Princess auction will take place on March 19th and will include some of Di's most iconic gowns, including the velvet Victor Edelstein she wore while dancing with John Travolta at the White House.
If this all sounds familiar, no you're not going crazy. The gowns were previously for sale in

And the rest of the lot, merely peasants??
London's publication of The Sunday Times has crowned Rihanna to be the next Princess Diana by comparison.
Feminist writer Camille Paglia declares:
"Diana and Rihanna began as sensitive, wounded, but appealingly bubbly and good-natured provincial girls who slowly discovered their own photogenic virtuosity and began to conceptualise themselves as living sculpture for the lens. Both developed a false intimacy with photographers and the public and began to cannibalise themselves in their futile search for security in love. Diana, rebuffed, eventually accepted her exile."
And here's where Chris Brown gets into the mix (we knew you were waiting for it). Camille continues:

Princess Diana like you've NEVER seen her before — just like U!
It's kinda cray to believe that there is still a picture of Lady Diana Spencer that has yet to be unseen. Clearly a LOT of effort was put in to hiding this pic of the future royal as an 18-year-old on a ski trip before she met Prince Charles.
The guy in this photo has unknown. All we know is the pic was taken in 1979 or 1980 when Di was in her late teens, and purchased by the Daily Mirror in 1981.
Clearly, the publisher decided (or was paid) not to release his black and white purchase, cuz it says "NOT TO BE PUBLISHED" across the top.
Eric Caren, who bought the Mirror's photo library seven years ago, knows just as much about the mysterious pic as we do. He says:

It's all Kate Middleton's influence!
Obvi!
We have to say that before the Duchess of Cambridge and after Princess Diana, we did not give a hoot about the royals' fashion choices or their weird, funny hats.
But we care now more than ever!
So, yes, we are beyond thrilled to hear about the new art exhibit Fine Style: The Art of Tudor and Stuart Fashion set to debut at Buckingham Palace in May of next year.
The exhibit will feature a live runway show that will showcase
