Sexism in a nutshell.
The U.S. Women's National Soccer Team scored an epic win over the 4th of July weekend, giving the United States a reason to celebrate.
You certainly don't see that kind of dominance from the country's Men's Soccer team…

So why is it they're getting paid so much less than the male World Cup winners??
And we're not talking about 70 cents on the dollar here!
The total prize money allotted in the Men's World Cup last year was a striking $575 million. But this year's Women's World Cup players will divide just

Aren’t rankings fun?! LOLz!
Every year athletes come and go, which means money within the sports changes around.
This year, we aren’t too shocked by who is number one, but what is surprising is who isn’t on this list, like Venus Williams!
It’s also crazy how many tennis players made the cut.

But may not get the money!
11-year-old Nate Smith from Minnesota took a shot on the ice to get a hockey puck through a 3.5 inch slot for $50,000 and MADE IT!
Unfortunately, the shot may not count toward the prize money because his identical twin brother, Nick, was the name printed on the raffle ticket required to take the shot!
It is now up to the insurance company to decide whether Nate will still win the money. As you'll watch above, the news anchor doesn't sound too confidant that an insurance company will bend the rules for the young slap shot.
Good luck, boys! We hope you get the money because that was an incredible shot! The least they can do is let Nick take a shot if they won't award his brother with the prize.
