WOW!

It's been an amazeballz few days for the LGBT community in sports! We aren't quite where we need and deserve to be, but we sure are on our way!!

Not only did Jason Collins come out as a gay man actively in the NBA, but the NHL has partnered with pro-gay initiatives, and now we're hearing that Andy Roddick & Mardy Fish have joined Athlete Ally — which is taking a stand against homophobia!!

We LOVE being able to bring you guys news like this!

In our political climate right now, we're getting more and more excited about the number of people holding government positions who are publicly supporting gay rights and gay marriage! To us, it's reflecting a shift in not only the beliefs within the offices held, but also a shift in how those beliefs are handled!

Being loud and proud about your view to support equality is the best way, because you're not cowering in fear of losing votes by standing up for your fellow humans! This is why we're applauding Senator Claire McCaskill!

Claire decided it was high time that she stand up for love, so she posted this on her tumblr:

Rachel Connor, a female pro golfer, has struck a plea deal and won't be serving time for a DUI.

We previously mentioned that she was busted for drunk driving in Florida with married retired NFL star Eddie George in her passenger seat.

Random.

Anyway, she blew a .133 then .137, nearing twice the legal limit, and had trouble walking straight.

That is unacceptable!

She plead guilty to the DUI charge to avoid jail time. It's believed she'll be sentenced to

This is her third pregnancy, so we're not that surprised.

Jennifer Garner showed up at the Walker Presents Pink Party '11 To Benefit Cedars-Sinai Women's Cancer Program in Toronto wearing some pret-ty high heels!

We admire the fact that they're Prada, but honey, you should be nothing but comfortable and relaxed during your pregnancy! Jen spoke of the shoes, saying:

"I wore the short ones. Rachel Zoe would not be happy. I have some that are two inches taller that I wore last night. You go through a training course when you're in the Screen Actors Guild. They have an obstacle course in platform heels. Everybody you see out there, we're all in it."

We still don't know how you managed to pull those off, but you definitely ARE a pro in walking in them!

As for other ways she keeps herself comfortable, Jen says she has three rules:

- "Snacks. We have snacks in the car. We have candy in the car."
- "While I'm very good about caffeine, I am also not afraid once or twice a pregnancy to have a half-caf latte. Today is one of those days."
- "Find ways to be as comfortable as possible and just go with it. It's not an illness, being pregnant. I'm in the easiest part of it."

Well, you certainly make it LOOK easy! And you look great, per usual. We're so excited to meet that bouncing new baby of yours when he or she pops out!
