In today's edition of "Ponder This While Choking Back Tears" we introduce to you a VERY poignant, beautifully crafted PSA from the Anti-Defamation League, titled Imagine A World Without Hate.

Grab a kleenex and press play (above)!

The creative concept portrays a potential future where those who have died in the past as a result of hate-fueled crimes are still alive as pivotal members of a global society.

Fusing the music of John Lennon with imagery of Martin Luther King Jr., Anne Frank, Matthew Shepard, and others, this is a video that needs to be viewed on every screen!!

Gary Busey Records Traumatic Brain Injury Month Special Message!

A lot of people think Gary Busey is just some weirdo they've seen on The Apprentice, but they haven't heard his whole story. Yeah, he can be quirky, and parts of the video are no exception, but he always means well, and he has an important cause that's very close to his heart…

… or brain, we should say!

Gary was in a motorcycle accident in 1988 that killed him. He wasn't wearing a helmet, and he cracked open his skull. During the emergency brain operation, he literally died.

Of course, he was brought back, and we're glad that he's doing okay — and he's working tirelessly to make sure what happened to him doesn't happen to anyone else, especially those who might not survive!

Check out the PSA he's recorded (above) for Traumatic Brain Injury Month!

Terrence Howard Joins The Colon Cancer Alliance!

Terrence Howard is known around Hollywood for being a little full of himself, and kinda hard to work with. We're glad he's doing something to change that frame of mind, because we really do think he's one hell of an actor!

Terrence has joined the Colon Cancer Alliance, and has recorded a new PSA for the group — all about getting people the proper screening for colon cancer, which is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in America. It's also very preventable with the right kind of screening!

Unfortunately, it couldn't be prevented in Terrence's mother, and that's why he has taken up this fight:

“I miss my mother’s voice and her gentle kindness. But despite my loss, my mom would love to know that her battle with colon cancer helped save others."

Virtually equal numbers of women (69,140) and men (73,680) are diagnosed with colon cancer each year, and yet people still view it as a "man's disease."

Check out Terrence's inspirational PSA (above), and make sure you get screened!

Emily VanCamp And Josh Bowman "Hands Off My Parts" PSA

Emily VanCamp and Josh Bowman from Revenge star in a new PSA for the World Wildlife Foundation.

The PSA is part of the new campaign "Hands Off My Parts" which is trying to raise awareness for the illegal wildlife trade.

So many animals, many of them rare, are killed every year for their fur, horns, bones and more.

That's just terrible! People need to leave the animals alone!!

The WWF released a statement that said:

"WWF is rallying forces globally to raise public awareness and reduce trafficking in endangered species. We’re grateful for the powerful voice celebrities like Emily and Josh are lending to this important cause. The world must take a stand to stop the illegal trade that is emptying our forests and our oceans. Supporting “Hands Off My Parts” is an empowering and simple way for anyone to be a voice for those endangered species who have no voice."

We're so glad Emily and Josh are giving up their time to help the animals.

Mindy McCready 'Acted Upbeat' & Approved A Suicide Prevention Music Video Days Before Her Own Death

mindy mccready upbeat day before suicide(1)

Wow… this is absolutely heartbreaking.

While we previously heard that late country star Mindy McCready had been in despair after her boyfriend committed suicide last month, it sounds like things seemed to be looking up just a few days before her own death.

A friend of Mindy’s, Danno Hanks, recently stepped forward about a music video that Mindy wanted completed, as a tribute to her late boyfriend and as somewhat of a PSA for suicide prevention.

Mindy had recorded the song, I’ll See You Yesterday, with her producer boyfriend, David Wilson, just last year.

Danno revealed:

“About six months ago she started talking to me about this song she wanted to do. She fell in love with it, and she wanted to make that the title song on her album.”

However, after David took his own life, Mindy seemed even more in a rush to get the music video out, having Danno use some photos he had taken and some of her own with her late boyfriend.

At the end of the video, Mindy wanted a link to suicideispreventable.org to be included, to encourage those contemplating suicide to seek help.

Danno continued:
