Well, that's not very family-friendly.
Reports are now coming out that Rodger Bumpass — AKA the voice of Squidward Tentacles from SpongeBob SquarePants — was arrested in Burbank, California for DUI.
Law enforcement sources say that just before 11 p.m. on Friday night, officers spotted the actor leaning up against a blue PT Cruiser that was stopped in the middle of the road.
Apparently, when police approached the man who plays the iconic Nickelodeon character, he tried to walk away and was so wobbly that he almost fell in the process.
Insiders say the 64-year-old confessed that he had been behind the wheel before the cops showed up.
The celeb then failed a field sobriety test, and was promptly booked. According to sources, his blood alcohol content was over twice the legal limit.
Yikes. The TV star was released with a citation the next morning, and is expected to appear in court next month.
We're just glad Rodger is okay and didn't cause himself or anyone else any harm.
