Kelly Bensimon Wants To Make You Hot!

We wouldn't want to take her advice about a lot of things, but this may actually be one of them!

Seriously - have you SEEN this woman's body?

The Real Housewives of New York castmember Kelly Bensimon has reportedly signed a deal with St. Martin's Press to write a wellness book tentatively called I Want To Make You Hot, which will include 40 recipes, as well as tips on how to live a healthy life and improve self-image!

The reality star explains:

"Spend seven days with me and my expert friends and we'll have fun with exercise, eat better, dress amazing, have more fun and smile through a life that's too short. I feel good about myself, my fluctuating weight and my life. Hot isn't about a waist size or a number on a scale. We can control how we look and feel, so let's get started together."

Wow! We actually think this has a lot of potential!

Anything that promotes positive thinking and self-improvement is all right by us!

Best of luck, gurl! We're looking forward to giving this one a read!

What do U think?? Will U pick up Kelly's book?

Levi Johnston Writing Tell-All Book!

Levi Johnston Writing Book

Bristol Palin's baby daddy Levi Johnston is ready to release a behind the scenes look at what he went through when he was blasted into the national spotlight AND coming to terms with being such a young father.

It's called Deer in the Headlights: My Life in Sarah Palin's Crosshairs, which sounds like the only option to ever title a book like this, and it'll be out this fall under Touchstone Publishing.

Both Levi and Bristol are only 20 years old, and Levi is planning to celebrate his 21st in Vegas. (Maybe he got a sitter or something?)

We feel like this is kinda unnecessary and that Levi is only trying to cash in on the 25th minute of his 15 minutes of fame, but we're sure there are people out there who will give it a read-through.

Will U be one of those people??

1951 Novel From Here To Eternity To Be Re-Released With Previously Censored Gay Content Included!

Wow! This is pretty crazy!

The 1951 novel From Here to Eternity, by James Jones, is set to be re-issued digitally through eBook firm Open Road, and will reportedly feature two scenes featuring gay content that were previously censored from the original publication!

Holy shiz!

The novel, which focuses on US soldiers serving in Hawaii the months before Pearl Harbor, and was later adapted into a 1953 film starring Frank Sinatra, originally featured two scenes that didn't make the cut. One focused on Private Angelo Maggio revealing that he is paid to have oral sex with another man, and the other referred to a military investigation into possible homosexual activity! The novel's original profanity has also been included back into the digital re-release, set for May 10th.

Jones' daughter, Kaylie, explains:

"My father fought bitterly to hold on to every four-letter word in the manuscript. The publisher was concerned about getting through the censors."

So cool!

Although it's such a shame that this material was cut out for so long, we're thrilled to hear that Jones' full vision for the story will finally be realized in this release!

Hopefully, more novels that may have been foolishly censored in the past for whatever reason will have the same opportunity someday soon!

Songwriter Heather Bright Calls Out Some Artists

heather bright calls out artists

During a recent interview, songwriter Heather Bright called out certain artists for their "shady songwriting practices."

Here's Heather on whether or not artists take publishing credit and money, even if they didn't write their own songs:

"It depends on who you are. Rihanna takes publishing, Justin Bieber takes publishing, Kanye West takes publishing. On all the stuff that they don’t write, they take publishing."

Heather on Justin Bieber's Somebody to Love writing credit (a song she wrote):

"Umm… How did he get a writing credit on it? That’s an interesting question. I don’t know. (laughs)"

And here Heather with some praise for artists who do, in fact, write their own songs:

"You can’t be Rihanna and be producing and writing records. You just can’t be doing that. You just won’t have time. All the appearances, the performances, and the ‘this,’ and the ‘that,’ you gotta show up to record, you gotta promote the album, go on tour. I mean, people like Lady Gaga – It’s amazing that they can find time to write! They have to write on tour, all of those artists who actually write!"

What do U think of Heather Bright's comments? Is something rotten in the state of Denmark songwriting?

Funny Or Die To Come Out In Book Form!

Move aside, Oprah's book club! We have your next book club selection!

Funny Or Die will be launching a comedy book imprint of their website.

There are little details on what will be expected in the books, however Mike Sacks is said to be a co-author along with Mike Farah and of course, FunnyOrDie.com creators, Adam McKay and Will Ferrell.

Farah discusses their decision to move into the publishing world:

"Well, we like books, and we like reading. And we’re fortunate enough to be able to expand from the engine that is currently driving us. We felt like this would be a fun and logical space to get into. But we’re going to take it slowly, learning as we go."

We're definitely intrigued at how they're going to pull this off. Here's hoping there's a chapter dedicated to Pearl The Landlord.

Would U read a Funny Or Die book??

Watch Out, Star Whackers! The Quaids Are Writing A Tell-All!

Oh boy. This is a whole lot of crazy for one novel!

The increasingly erratic Randy and Evi Quaid have allegedly started the hunt for a ghost-writer to help the couple with a tell-all book!

A source reveals:

“The hunt for a writer to work with the Quaids is happening right now. No one expects them to have any problems getting a publisher. The book is going to be wild, that’s for sure. They’ve got a lot to say and they’re not going to hold back. At the very least it’s going to be very entertaining.”

We predict it to be a best-seller!

We just hope that the plan to tell-all doesn't get that nefarious Star Whacker all riled up!

What if he (or she, they, it, whatever) comes after them before they're finished with the manuscript?!

More Books To Come! Chelsea Handler Given Publishing Imprint!

chelsea handler book deal grand central

After writing three bestselling books, Chelsea Handler has been given her own publishing imprint at Grand Central Publishing. It will be called Borderline Amazing/A Chelsea Handler Book.

The first tome to kick off the imprint will be Lies that Chelsea Handler Told Me, which will be published May 2011. It is the first of Chelsea's three book deal. The second will be written by her dog, Chunk, who will obviously have a co-writer. Ha!

Handler's partner in Borderline Amazing Productions, Tom Brunelle, will oversee the publishing venture.

Chelsea said:

"I've written three books now, and while they throw money at you after awhile, I completed the Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang book tour, went out every weekend and signed all those books, and I don't know if I can do it again. I'm 35 years old, I'm tired. This is a different approach, getting all my friends and family involved, telling them how I've screwed them over. I'll be editing and overseeing, while my family and friends make money off me and get something back from the torture I've put them through. I've got a couple other ideas and people I want to see write books.

Chunk has it tough. All he wants is to be with me, but I leave him with all the misfits in my life while I go on the road. This will be an easy book for him to write."

Wowsa! She's killing it!
