Lesson learned: don't post celeb sex tapes.
After Gawker lost a massive $115 million judgment to Hulk Hogan over the posting of his sex tape, it seemed like the case was all said and done — well, until the appeal, that is.

There's only one thing: that $115 million only takes into account the compensatory damages that Gawker did when they published Hogan's naughty nookie night on camera.
The punitive damages still have yet to be handed down, and a jury will next week decide how much to tack on to that figure.
Get ready, though, because punitive damages

Back in 2010, Shaq's ex and mistress, Vanessa Lopez filed a suit against the NBA star accusing him of invasion of privacy, racketeering, emotional distress and intentional inflection, and even though she's already alleging that O'Neal did all this… she now wants punitive damages added to the suit!!
Miz Lopez has previously claimed that the former hooper HACKED into her phone to listen to phone calls and view texts, and while Shaq's ex-employee, Shawn Darling actually revealed what went down, we can see why Vanessa is seeking extra damages.

Gangster drama continues!
Yesterday, we heard that Joe Pesci was suing the producers of Gotti: In the Shadow of My Father for $3 million and punitive damages.
He was claiming he had a locked deal to play the role of Angelo Ruggiero which required him to end his healthy diet and gain 30 pounds for a pay of $3 million….but he says producers reneged on the deal and offered him a lesser role for only $1 million.
Now, producer Marc Fiore is speaking out against Pesci, and he's insisting that Pesci pulled himself out of the project after director Nick Cassavetes exited the movie last April.
Here's what Fiore had to say about it:
"Before we had a deal, Mr. Pesci walked away. He's wasting his time and everybody else's time. I might be a newbie in town. This newbie is not going to get bulled around."
What'cha have to say about that, Joe???

Uh-oh! Tisk, tisk, Nickelback!
The band is currently battling a copyright infringement lawsuit over their song, Figured You Out, because Vancouver band Econoline Crush seems to think that they ripped off THEIR song, All That You Are!
According to the legal documents, Nickelback "maliciously and willfully and with a conscious disregard" for the Crush song, and are seeking "all damages permitted by Federal copyright law," including actual damages, along with statutory and punitive damages!
Listen to both the songs (above)!
What do U think?? Does Econoline Crush have a case against them??

This sounds familiar.
Photographer Michael Vazquez is suing Kanye West after he was allegedly "assaulted, battered, beat and threatened" by West and his security team.
Vazquez claims all this went down in May of 2008 when 'Nye performed at Guastavino's.
A day after the event Michael filed a police report, but he never mentioned his dislocated shoulder or cuts to his face was from Kanye.
Three years later the photographer is seeking money for his injuries as well as punitive damages.
