When you go shopping this holiday season, make sure it doesn't involve store puppies!

A majority of store dogs come from mills, horrid places where puppies don't see the light of day.

You don't want to treat your new puppy like an average toy, do you?

Puppy store pets can also run the risk of being unhealthy, so why risk it?

A puppy mill is the most HORRIBLE place a dog can end up in, but luckily, people like Adam Parascondola are out to rescue doggies from the cruel puppy farms.

Adam is part of an animal rescue team from The Humane Society of the United States, and on a recent raid in North Carolina, he saved a chihuahua!

The poor little doggie, Billy, appeared to have been living his life in a cage, as the door to his jail was rusted shut when Adam went to open it.

But as soon as the too-cute pooch popped out of his terrible chamber, Parascondola fell in love and took him home!!

We're happy to hear such a wonderful rescue story, and if you would like to get wind of more tales like this…

Justice will be served to a family of dog breeders for the cruel conditions they provided to over 200 dogs.

Rhonda and Dave Auton, along with their 29 year old son, Adam, each face 241 counts of animal cruelty after their Maplewood, OH business was raided last week.

The ASPCA had several concerns about Facebook Marketplace being used to sell puppies who were raised in puppy mills.

So Facebook listened and will no longer allow puppy mill dogs to be sold via Marketplace.
